About Me

My photo
Hello my fellow Politiores Troglodytes. This Blog is a collection of Posts, Poems, & Short Stories that I write on a daily basis. If you find it entertaining, informative, and controversial, then I have done my job properly. Thank goodness too, because Karma has been on my case of late. I'm supposed to bring fifty people into the fold or I'll have to give back the part of Einstein's brain I inherited. No, I'm not one of the Scientists who got a piece of his brain when he died. Karma said, "Eat this knowledge. It'll make you smarter!" The bargain I made with Karma was, if I could change fifty people into Politiores Populos, I would be rewarded with my very own Lamborghini. So, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! Like what you're reading, then read on. P.S. Populo is Latin for people. Politiores is Latin for educated. Troglodytes is English for troglodytes. And Einstein's brain was stolen by Thomas Stoltz Harvey after his death in 1955 and eventually divvied up into 240 pieces. If you just read that last sentence, then you have just learned something and I'm just that much closer to fulfilling my commitment to Karma!

The 5 Best Posts Of March 2016

As one of my former
Commentators
suggested,
at the end of each month,
instead of me picking
The 5 Best Posts Of The Month,
I should let the viewers pick.
Sorry,
but if I asked a few days before the end of the
Month
for everyone to vote on their favorites,
I do not believe I would get enough responses in time to
Post
the five best.
So,
the very best next thing to do is,
go by the numbers.
Which
Posts
in the month of
March
caught the eyes of the most viewers.
So,
here's looking at you kid.

The 5th Best Post of the Month is;
The story about where I think you should stick those pills up a Doctor's.........if you are prescribed an "Opioid" for pain. It is so easy to become addicted to these things and the fools who do, are all loopy.

The 4th Best Post of the Month is;
The name of the Post is the funny part of the story. The Post actually tells about five upcoming missions into outer space and the Agencies involved in them.

The 3rd Best Post of the Month is;
The humorous look at these four different subjects which have no correlation to each other.

The 2nd Best Post of the Month is;
It is the story of how I watch different television programming from around the World and how surprised I was to see so much American advertisement on a Chinese website I visit.

THE NUMBER 1 BEST POST OF THE MONTH IS;
(Play that Imaginary Drum Roll in your own Head right now.)
(Do you hear all that Overwhelming Imaginary Applause in your own Head right now?)
This is the true story about a group of Hackers who are smart enough to hack their way into the Bangladesh Bank's systems and steal its credentials for payment transfers. But they could not spell the word "Foundation" correct and lost a chance at a Billion Dollars!

Scream John Lennon Scream

Back during the early 1970s,
one of my musical heroes,
was considered to have anger issues.
No matter what the portrayed image was at the time,
he was considered,
to a lot of people,
kind of a jerk.
Luckily for him,
because of
and a strange kind of new therapy,
John Lennon
found peace with himself
and in life before he died.
I am not going to go into a philosophy discussion right now to explain why I feel that this is important before someone dies.
This
Post
is about that experimental therapy that
John Lennon
enjoyed
and that he told the World about it.
This particular therapy has not gone away,
but has fallen under the radar of mainstream psychiatric care that is practiced today.
Since
John Lennon
preached its benefits,
I thought that I would give it a try to quell my anger issues.
I am not sure if it worked for me
or not.
Or,
that becoming older does make you smarter
and less of a hothead.
This therapy was called the
Scream Therapy,
which eventually became known as
The premise is,
when all your tension builds up to a point where it could be bothering your state of mind
or your general health,
to release all the negative tension you have,
you let out a scream.
Afterwards,
you feel much better for it.
Did I mention that it is under the radar of mainstream care today?
Well,
I have been using this technique for so long that it has become a habit with me.
Where sometimes I forget where I might be
and just let out a wild scream!
Those wild screams has landed me inside the
and do I feel foolish now.
Wait one second. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!
See Doctor,
I am all better now.

What the Hell is this Blog all about?

OK,
it is time to set the record straight.

They are correct.
The first reason I started this
Blog
was to put out my
"Poetry, Short Stories, Flash Fiction, A Novelette, & A Novel You Can Buy, and Music Videos,"
for the World to read for free.
(Except for that Novel you can buy.)
Then,
the reason I try to write a
Post
on my
Blog
everyday,
is to become a better writer.
The other reason I try to write a
Post
everyday is,
I have to come up with a new idea to write about
and tell it from my point of view.
Even though I will use parts of a story from the
Internet,
I still have to write on how I feel,
think,
and understand that story.
All of this is to help me,
not to have writer's block,
and to become a better writer.

The Day After A Holy-Day

Ah,
the
Holy-days,
of any Religion,
the
Holidays,
of American traditions,
the
Birthdays
and
Anniversaries,
of any Family unit.
We need a reason to celebrate a moment in time
and reflect on what it meant to us.
OK,
maybe
need
is too strong of a word,
but I feel,
we at least want to have these days to celebrate,
so we can take time off of work,
or to reflect on our growth as we get older,
or to share those moments with other family members.
We must
Thank all Religions,
(so they could collect money from their followers,)
by setting aside the first day of rest so we could listen to their sermons
and become better
Human Beings
in the eyes of whatever
God
or
Gods
you follow.
Then,
thanks to
who recruited the best workers of the day by offering higher wages than any industrialist at that time,
and by adding another day off for the work force,
Saturday,
if that work force would stay sober while under his employment.
Add those weekend days,
except for you overtime hungry workers,
and all the personal holidays,
Government required Holidays,
and the Religious Holy-days,
you can almost get up to a 1/2 the year off of working if you play your cards right
and find a job that you love to do.
But for most people,
the rock band
said it best in their song
"Birth, School, Work, Death."
Most of the World's population is satisfied just to have a job to support their families.
Only a few
Make Their Mark
in this World
and are remember forevermore.

A Green Comet Or Is It The Green Lantern

If you have not already,
dust off that old telescope you lost interest in years ago,
because the
Moon
always looks the same,
search out in the starry skies tonight for,
"Comet 252P/LINEAR (which) soars into predawn view this week." By J. Kelly Beatty, Senior Editor at Sky & Telescope.
Photo by Gerald Rhemann / www.astrostudio.at
Astronomers who scan the skies for returning comets are often disappointed. Sometimes these icy visitors from the fringes of our planetary system end up being much fainter than predicted. And sometimes the opposite happens. Comet LINEAR, now in Earth’s general vicinity, started brightening abruptly a few weeks ago and has become more than 100 times brighter than expected. Observers from the Southern Hemisphere have been able to glimpse the comet by eye, without any optical aid, from very dark skies. Now Comet LINEAR is moving rapidly northward into view from the Northern Hemisphere. You’ll need to be out at least 1½ hours before sunrise, in a location as free from light pollution as possible. The comet is moving between the distinctive constellations Sagittarius and Scorpius, located low in the southern part of the sky before dawn. Each morning the comet will be higher up with respect to the surrounding stars, as shown on the chart.
Diagram by Sky & Telescope
The planets Saturn and Mars are in this part of the sky as well. They and the bright star Antares will be the first things you notice, forming a distinctive triangle. The comet is climbing to the left of this trio. It will be roughly in line with Mars and Saturn on the morning of March 29th and along a line connecting Saturn and Antares on March 31st. But the comet is faint enough, especially though the moonlight, that you’ll need to use the chart to pinpoint the exact spot among the stars to examine. Photographs show that Comet LINEAR has a greenish color, caused by molecules of diatomic carbon (C2) that are fluorescing in sunlight. However, the green tint likely won’t be evident unless you view the comet through a telescope. LINEAR is an acronym for Lincoln Near Earth Asteroid Research, an MIT Lincoln Laboratory program funded by the U.S. Air Force and NASA.
I say,
get those telescopes out tonight
and follow the direction of this so called
Comet.
I am sure you will find,
like I see in my
Mind's Eye,
that this is really the
coming to save the
Earth
from some other
Comet Catastrophe!

I Drive For Ferrari

I have stated before that my favorite
F1 Drivers
have always been
German Drivers.
Even though I am a second generation born
United States Citizen,
I still relate to my
Irish
and
German Ancestry.
Since,
there have only been five
F1
drivers from
Ireland
and six drivers from
Northern Ireland,
who are categorize as
British Drivers,
and with none racing today,
it is easier for me to relate to the
51 German F1 drivers.
From
who led the
1961 Driver's Championship
until his untimely death in a crash at the
to
who won the latest
F1 Race
at the
Australian Grand Prix.

So,
when I went out to drive for my own

and have my own custom

I had to go with the

Yes,
I drive for Ferrari,
sitting on my couch,
steering wheel on my TV tray,
gas & brake peddles are on my floor,
with my giant big screen television showing me the tracks!
I haven't finished a full weekend of

and a

Take Care Michael Schumacher

What do you do when the family of one of your heroes,
who had a tragic accident where he could be a vegetable,
(Not a medical term.)
asks that the family be left alone.
We all wait to hear on the fate of our heroes,
the gladiators who fight for us.
They epitomize the
Greek God Hermes
to us.
Michael Schumacher,
as in Hermes,
was the messenger of the
Gods
in motor racing .
Hermes is the God of sports and of athletes.
(And a few other anecdotes that do not apply here.)
Yet,
we must adhere to the wishes of the family,
because it is their family,
and family is everything!

"Michael Schumacher latest health updates: Still no news as Schumacher family continues media blackout." By Charles Lim for MNRDaily
The past few weeks have been very quiet when it came to news regarding the health condition of the seven-time world Formula One racing champion Michael Schumacher. The lack of news however doesn't necessarily have to mean that there are no improvements in the racer's health and that it might be just the way the Schumacher family wants it. One of the last people to have visited the champion was fellow Formula One racing ace, Niki Lauda. In the past few years, Lauda has had nothing but praise for the Formula One star and now he has confessed that he himself didn't have that much information regarding Schumacher's condition. "The family protects him and I understand that completely. But it means that all those who would like to know something, do not. I often think of him, but unfortunately, I have no contact. We all just hope, hope, hope," Lauda mentions. Apart from Lauda, Schumacher's manager, Sabine Kehm, recently revealed that the racing star actually wanted to disappear from the public view and that it was one of his "secret dreams" to do so someday. "I think it was his secret dream to be able to do that (disappear) someday. That's why now I still want to protect his wishes in that I don't let anything get out," Kehm had mentioned. For now, Schumacher is still continuing with his rehabilitation and recovery at their family home in the shores of Lake Geneva. The $800 million property has also been home to 15 medical professionals who are taking care of the ailing racer ever since his skiing accident during a holiday at the French Alps. Reports also reveal that the family is spending more than $140,000 a week for the racing star's medical expenses, which has been taking its toll on the family's financial situation.
I hope they are financially sound
and can bare the weight.
Take care Michael.

How Do You Relax With A Cold Frosty One?

I finally get a moment to relax
and talk about one of the things that I love most in life.
Formula 1.
Without some crazy terrorist group trying to steal my thunder.
I know what they do is no laughing matter,
but if I talked about only those shameless,
hideous,
repellent creatures from
Hades,
spewing their lies in the name of
Allah
all the time,
I would be doing exactly what they wanted.
Spreading their fear,
even to the few who follow this Blog.
On the happier side of life,
the
 has begun,
and what an event it was.
The Australian Grand Prix had the roller coaster effect of all my emotions for me.
From the start of the race where
bolted to the front of
and led the first 18 laps of the race,
(Sebastian Vettel then Kimi Raikkonen)
as far as I can remember.
To the frightful,
but exciting crash between
driver
Esteban Gutierrez
and
driver
Fernando Alonso.
Finally,
to the finish of the race where my favorite driver,
Nico Rosberg,
wins!

The countdown is already underway for the
Which will be held from April 1st thru April 3rd.
Check your local time
and channel for the race since I made a mistake on my last Post about Formula 1,
And we all know that whatever little mistake you make on the internet,
someone somewhere is going to point it out with enmity!

#PrayforBelgum - #PrayForPeace

I wrote yesterday on how
Anonymous
was taking on
Donald the Stump
and his prejudicial campaign for the
Republican Presidential Nomination.
I was applauding their efforts
and even asked viewers,
"To help Anonymous as they encourage supporters to target the website for the real estate magnate’s Chicago luxury hotel, TrumpChicago.com, on April 1 as part of their #OpTrump campaign."
I applaud their efforts to take on idiot politicians like Trump,
political terrorists like ISIS,
and their efforts to awaken the World to the fact that evil,
in which ever form it takes,
needs to be thwarted in its beginnings.
Then I heard what happened in Brussels
and I became enraged.
 Why couldn't
Anonymous
have warned the country of
Brussels
what was coming?
Then I cool down to realize,
ISIS
would not be around if it did not have at least some intelligence on the computer age.
Other evil entities have confused authorities in the past to become so powerful,
that they scared the average person,
just by mentioning their name.
Example:
The
Zetas Cartel of Mexico
used Walkie-talkies to communicate when they knew government agencies would be monitoring all landline
and cell phone calls.
They became prominent in the
Drug World
by going back to an older technology.
I am not sure if any Government who knew about the attacks on Brussels,
would have warned them ahead of time.
Example:
This is going way back,
but I believe it is true today as it was back in World War Two.
Britain had cracked the Germans Enigma Code Machine.
One of the first messages they deciphered,
by British Intelligence,
was the forthcoming of
Bombing
of the
City of Coventry.
Winston Churchill knew that if he had evacuated the city before the bombing,
Germany would know they had cracked their code.
Instead he let all those people be killed so the Germans would think the Enigma Machine was unbreakable.
Right or wrong?
So,
if a Government today new of the bombings in Brussels,
and had warned them ahead of time,
ISIS
would know they had a leak.
But I have no doubt that if
Anonymous
would have known the attacks were coming they would have done all they could to stop it.
Or I could be just fooling myself.
Hoping there really are good people in this World watching over us, fighting evil.
One thing a Hacker cannot Hack at the time of writing this Post.
I know they are working on it though.
No one can Hack the Human Mind.
And the best way to communicate,
still to this day,
is by word of mouth.
By word of mouth,
with their own little code,
so eavesdroppers
and lip readers do not suspect a thing.

This is,
"Hours after a grisly terror attack rocked Brussels' airport and a downtown metro stop, #JeSuisBruxelles and #JeSuisBrussels were trending on Twitter in a sign of solidarity with victims."
Jim Hauenstein,

And,

"Others used the hashtags #PrayforBelgum and #PrayForPeace to offer their condolences."

Vacation Is Over - Time To Get Back To What I Love Best

I was waiting for something interesting to pop out at me,
that I could write about while I enjoyed my morning tea.
I went on a trip,
only to hear about a tip,
that a man in a Guy Fawkes mask,
had something to ask.
They had declared Total War on a divisive GOP front-runner,
Because of his propensity of giving Mussolini a hummer.
So while on my trip,
I heard an exciting tip,
That The View broadcast Anonymous,
Political affiliates-autonomous.

Thanks to
for bringing a little more awareness to our wonderful friends from

Why the poem you ask?
Today we celebrate people like Walt Whitman.
It is
