About Me

My photo
Hello my fellow Politiores Troglodytes. This Blog is a collection of Posts, Poems, & Short Stories that I write on a daily basis. If you find it entertaining, informative, and controversial, then I have done my job properly. Thank goodness too, because Karma has been on my case of late. I'm supposed to bring fifty people into the fold or I'll have to give back the part of Einstein's brain I inherited. No, I'm not one of the Scientists who got a piece of his brain when he died. Karma said, "Eat this knowledge. It'll make you smarter!" The bargain I made with Karma was, if I could change fifty people into Politiores Populos, I would be rewarded with my very own Lamborghini. So, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! Like what you're reading, then read on. P.S. Populo is Latin for people. Politiores is Latin for educated. Troglodytes is English for troglodytes. And Einstein's brain was stolen by Thomas Stoltz Harvey after his death in 1955 and eventually divvied up into 240 pieces. If you just read that last sentence, then you have just learned something and I'm just that much closer to fulfilling my commitment to Karma!

Questions To Ponder

What is a Black Hole?
A black hole is a place in space where gravity pulls so much that even light can not get out. The gravity is so strong because matter has been squeezed into a tiny space. This can happen when a star is dying.

What is a Quasar?
A massive and extremely remote celestial object, emitting exceptionally large amounts of energy, and typically having a starlike image in a telescope. It has been suggested that quasars contain massive black holes and may represent a stage in the evolution of some galaxies.
What is the Hubble Space Telescope?
The Hubble Space Telescope is a large telescope in space. It was launched into orbit by space shuttle Discovery on April 24, 1990. Hubble orbits about 547 kilometers (340 miles) above Earth. It is the length of a large school bus and weighs as much as two adult elephants. Hubble travels about 5 miles per second: That is like traveling from the eastern coast of the United States to the western coast in 10 minutes. Hubble is solar-powered.Hubble takes sharp pictures of objects in the sky such as planets, stars and galaxies. Hubble has made more than one million observations. These include detailed pictures of the birth and death of stars, galaxies billions of light years away, and comet pieces crashing into Jupiter's atmosphere.

Why the three Questions and Answers?
Astronomers using NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope have found that Markarian 231, the nearest galaxy to Earth that hosts a quasar, is powered by two central black holes furiously whirling about each other.
The finding suggests that quasars—the brilliant cores of active galaxies – may commonly host two central supermassive black holes, which fall into orbit about one another as a result of the merger between two galaxies. Like a pair of whirling skaters, the black-hole duo generates tremendous amounts of energy that makes the core of the host galaxy outshine the glow of its population of billions of stars, which scientists then identify as quasars.

What does that mean for you?
Well,
nothing.
Unless you live forever.
Because the
"Milky Way Galaxy"
and the
"Andromeda Galaxy"
are going to collide!
It won't happen for another 4 billion years,
so stop your worrying.
I doubt people will be living on the Earth,
they'll probably be living elsewhere in the Universe,
and I doubt they'll even look like we do.
They will have evolved into a different looking species.
Most likely,
less then half organic,
and more graphene like material.
Something like they do with
MOFs
(Metal-Organic Frameworks).
That's an awful example.
Think Cyborg,
but with advance materials.
Why did I write this Post?
Because I find everything about
"Space"
fascinating!
I was just talking to my friend,
"Zeta Reticulans,"
who really needs to get out in the Sun more,
(Don't tell her, but she is really Grey.)
about all the information we have about the Universe.
She just laughed at me
and then teleported the heck out of here.
How rude!

And,

“I believe in true love. But my opinion is tainted, because I also believe in Bigfoot, aliens, and in the existence of honest politicians.”
- Jarod Kintz -

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Thanks for reading.

P.S.
Zeta Reticulans are supposedly the race of small Grey Aliens from the Star system Zeta Reticuli. Which is a wide binary star system in the southern constellation of Reticulum. From the southern hemisphere the pair can be seen as double stars. Based upon parallax measurements, this system is located at a distance of about 39 light-years from the Earth. Zeta² Reticuli is orbited by a circumstellar debris disk. Both stars are solar analogs that share similar characteristics with the Sun. They belong to the Zeta Herculis Moving Group of stars that share a common origin. So now you know!
