Bad News

I got some real bad news a few days ago.

It was so disheartening,

that I couldn't tell anybody about it.

It was such a strain emotionally,

that the only thing I can compare it to,

that has happen in my lifetime,

is the death and burial of my.........

give me a second..........

the death and burial of my pet turtle!

And that just happened last week!

Actually,

not trying to be funny this time around,

my latest entry into a writer's contest was rejected.

I keep asking,

for any reader out there,

please read some of the Poetry and Fiction under the Heading,

"Poetry, Short Stories, Flash Fiction, & A Novelette!"

I'm hoping you'll
Comment
on them,

so I can look at the constructive criticism,

and improve on my writing.

I know,
there is someone out there reading my Blog.

I see the numbers daily.

It shows that you,

my readers,

will take the time to read the Posts I put up daily,

but no one is reading my stories.

Why?

I would like to know.

If you have any suggestions for me on improving my Blog,

so I can recruit new people,

who will

let me know.

To take the next step,

I need more people to sign up as

Or I'll just keep plugging away at this keyboard,

commenting on the World

and being as funny as I can.

Hey,

that wouldn't be so bad.

I kind of like that idea too!

I can either become a semi-professional writer,

or stay the intellectual Blogger that I am today!
