About Me

My photo
Hello my fellow Politiores Troglodytes. This Blog is a collection of Posts, Poems, & Short Stories that I write on a daily basis. If you find it entertaining, informative, and controversial, then I have done my job properly. Thank goodness too, because Karma has been on my case of late. I'm supposed to bring fifty people into the fold or I'll have to give back the part of Einstein's brain I inherited. No, I'm not one of the Scientists who got a piece of his brain when he died. Karma said, "Eat this knowledge. It'll make you smarter!" The bargain I made with Karma was, if I could change fifty people into Politiores Populos, I would be rewarded with my very own Lamborghini. So, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! Like what you're reading, then read on. P.S. Populo is Latin for people. Politiores is Latin for educated. Troglodytes is English for troglodytes. And Einstein's brain was stolen by Thomas Stoltz Harvey after his death in 1955 and eventually divvied up into 240 pieces. If you just read that last sentence, then you have just learned something and I'm just that much closer to fulfilling my commitment to Karma!

Jean-Luc Picard Lives

I might be late to this party,
but what a party is it going to be.
What am I talking about?
Patrick Stewart To Reprise His Role As Jean-Luc Picard In New Star Trek Series!
CBSNews.com
It will be streamed on CBS All Access. The still-unnamed series will explore the "next chapter" of Picard's life. "I feel I'm ready to return to him for the same reason — to research and experience what comforting and reforming light he might shine on these often very dark times," Stewart said in a statement. "I look forward to working with our brilliant creative team as we endeavor to bring a fresh, unexpected and pertinent story to life once more."

CBS already has one
Star Trek
show being streamed on
It's called
Discovery.
When the show premiered on
Network Television
the ratings were off the chart.
The cheapest way to get
CBS All Access
is to pay
$5.99
per month.
This is with commercials.
$9.99
without.
They have three channels
and loads of old programming to watch.
That's the problem for me.
If it isn't
Star Trek
there is nothing else I want to watch!

This is,
Counting My Pennies,
Jim Hauenstein,

And,

“Star Trek?” I asked her. “Really?”
“What?” she demanded, bending unnaturally black eyebrows together.
“There are two kinds of people in the universe, Molly,” I said. “Star Trek fans and Star Wars fans.”
She sniffed. “This is the post-nerd-closet world, Harry. It’s okay to like both.”
“Blasphemy and lies,” I said.”
- Jim Butcher, -

That is my story and I am sticking to it!
