About Me

My photo
Hello my fellow Politiores Troglodytes. This Blog is a collection of Posts, Poems, & Short Stories that I write on a daily basis. If you find it entertaining, informative, and controversial, then I have done my job properly. Thank goodness too, because Karma has been on my case of late. I'm supposed to bring fifty people into the fold or I'll have to give back the part of Einstein's brain I inherited. No, I'm not one of the Scientists who got a piece of his brain when he died. Karma said, "Eat this knowledge. It'll make you smarter!" The bargain I made with Karma was, if I could change fifty people into Politiores Populos, I would be rewarded with my very own Lamborghini. So, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! Like what you're reading, then read on. P.S. Populo is Latin for people. Politiores is Latin for educated. Troglodytes is English for troglodytes. And Einstein's brain was stolen by Thomas Stoltz Harvey after his death in 1955 and eventually divvied up into 240 pieces. If you just read that last sentence, then you have just learned something and I'm just that much closer to fulfilling my commitment to Karma!

The Five Best Posts Of April, 2017

I haven't forgotten to write one of my most popular
Posts
of each month.
Which is;
The Five Best Posts Of Each Month.
What I have noticed though,
the
Posts
I write towards the end of each month don't have the chance,
getting the viewership numbers,
as the ones written at the beginning of the month.
So,
waiting nine to ten days into the following month,
it would give my later
Posts
of the previous month a fighting chance.
Looking at the numbers though,
I might have to wait until the middle of the following month to write
The Five Best Posts Of The Previous Month.
Did you follow that explanation?
Well,
without confusing myself any further,
I would like to present to you;
The Five Best Posts Of April, 2017.

Number Five On My List Of The Five Best Posts Of April, 2017 is:
If you haven't noticed by now, I have been writing a weekly series called; The Man From Mars. George Johnson meets a mysterious man at Harry's Bar in Queens, New York. He is given an amulet by a man who says is from Atlantis, which we call Mars. After taking the amulet to a laboratory for carbon dating, the lab technician says his findings are off the chart and that the Government should be informed of the most important finding this half century. And if you would like to know more on what happens, you need to start reading from Episode One through Episode Sixteen, and come back each Thursday for each continuing Episode!

Number Four On My List Of The Five Best Posts Of April is;
Holy Weekend
The story of my Catholic upbringing, with a Irish Mother, celebrating the Easter Weekend. How it effected me growing up and how I like spending Holy and Holidays with my Family. I also have three music videos helping me explain my story.

Number Three On My List Of The Five Best Posts Of April is;
Just a short Post explaining how I caught the flu while on vacation and assuring everyone that I wouldn't miss writing the next Episode of The Man From Mars. I would like to think this Post got so many views because people were worried about well being. More likely though, people came looking to see if I wrote something interesting and then went on to read some of my Short Stories & Flash Fiction. Thank you for that.

Number Two On My List Of The Five Best Posts Of April is;
My explanation of the word greatness and how it relates to me. By raising seven outstanding children and watching them have children of their own.

Number One On My List Of The Five Best Posts Of April, 2017 is;
Thank you everyone for taking an interest in my weekly series, The Man From Mars, and making two Episodes of the series reach the Top Five Posts of April. I hope you all enjoy the show.

This is,
Being Inspired By All The Readers Coming Back Each Day To Read My Stuff,
Jim Hauenstein,

And,

“All good books are alike in that they are truer than if they had really happened and after you are finished reading one you will feel that all that happened to you and afterwards it all belongs to you: the good and the bad, the ecstasy, the remorse and sorrow, the people and the places and how the weather was. If you can get so that you can give that to people, then you are a writer.”
- Ernest Hemingway -

That is my story and I am sticking to it!
