About Me

My photo
Hello my fellow Politiores Troglodytes. This Blog is a collection of Posts, Poems, & Short Stories that I write on a daily basis. If you find it entertaining, informative, and controversial, then I have done my job properly. Thank goodness too, because Karma has been on my case of late. I'm supposed to bring fifty people into the fold or I'll have to give back the part of Einstein's brain I inherited. No, I'm not one of the Scientists who got a piece of his brain when he died. Karma said, "Eat this knowledge. It'll make you smarter!" The bargain I made with Karma was, if I could change fifty people into Politiores Populos, I would be rewarded with my very own Lamborghini. So, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! Like what you're reading, then read on. P.S. Populo is Latin for people. Politiores is Latin for educated. Troglodytes is English for troglodytes. And Einstein's brain was stolen by Thomas Stoltz Harvey after his death in 1955 and eventually divvied up into 240 pieces. If you just read that last sentence, then you have just learned something and I'm just that much closer to fulfilling my commitment to Karma!

Expanding Our Little Charity To Other Holidays

Today,
my second oldest
Daughter
showed the
Self-Righteous,
Sanctimonious,
and all around
Deplorable Smugness Attitude
of the
Temecula,
California Residents,
what it is like to truly care for other people.
These
Residents,
who I once called my neighbors,
have turned into a bunch of
Intolerant Sententious Group
of
Pigheadedness.
My
Daughter
saved up forty of those
Tupperware Type,
Lunch-Meat Containers,
you will find in the
Deli Section
of your local grocery store.
She bought more than forty bottles of water,
macaroni & cheese,
cookies,
napkins,
and
plastic forks.
We were given
mashed potatoes
and a
chicken
from the
She made up 34 meals to be given away to homeless people
and today we handed them out.
The funny thing about this town?
It no longer tolerates
Homeless People
living in the area.
The
City Government
has plowed away all the bushes
and trees along the river that winds through our municipality,
which was the makeshift shelter for most of the
Homeless.
This
City
has set up a
Task Force
to arrest anyone panhandling
or for being homeless,
living in our town.
They don't look for a way to help these people,
they arrest them,
and put them in jail for being down on their luck!
We could only find three homeless people after driving around for about two hours.
Then,
my daughter went to the
Facebook Site;
and asked if anyone knew where there might be any homeless people,
so we could hand out free meals to them.
This is what my daughter saw when someone else came up with the same idea as she had
and also asked for help finding homeless people.
Murrieta,
another town with a stick up its butt,
is adjacent to
Temecula.
But this awful attitude resides in both cities equally.
Well,
I did finally meet someone who said he was once homeless,
told me where to go,
and how to announce myself when I approached them,
so I wouldn't scare them off
or startle them.
After that,
we quickly handed out
25 More Meals
and saw some of the happiest smiles I have seen in a while.
It doesn't take much time
or money to help someone in need.
It just takes a little effort to accomplish some good in this World.

This is,
Already Planning On Expanding Our Little Charity To Other Holidays In The Coming Months,
Jim Hauenstein,

And,

“No one has ever become poor by giving.”
- Anne Frank -

“It's not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.”
- Mother Teresa -

“There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.”
- John Holmes -

That is my story and I am sticking to it!
