About Me

My photo
Hello my fellow Politiores Troglodytes. This Blog is a collection of Posts, Poems, & Short Stories that I write on a daily basis. If you find it entertaining, informative, and controversial, then I have done my job properly. Thank goodness too, because Karma has been on my case of late. I'm supposed to bring fifty people into the fold or I'll have to give back the part of Einstein's brain I inherited. No, I'm not one of the Scientists who got a piece of his brain when he died. Karma said, "Eat this knowledge. It'll make you smarter!" The bargain I made with Karma was, if I could change fifty people into Politiores Populos, I would be rewarded with my very own Lamborghini. So, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! Like what you're reading, then read on. P.S. Populo is Latin for people. Politiores is Latin for educated. Troglodytes is English for troglodytes. And Einstein's brain was stolen by Thomas Stoltz Harvey after his death in 1955 and eventually divvied up into 240 pieces. If you just read that last sentence, then you have just learned something and I'm just that much closer to fulfilling my commitment to Karma!

Wish Me Luck

I've been searching the
Internet
for a story that pops out at me,
unfortunately,
all I can think about today is the
Flash Fiction
story I just wrote for a
Science Fiction Contest
I want to enter.
Right now I'm editing two books
and that Flash Fiction story.
One book will be an eBook,
the other I'm going to shop around to Literary Agents,
and the Flash Fiction will be entered into
contest.
If any of you are writers out there,
Writers Of The Future
is free to enter
and the benefits if you win are well worth the effort.
Just wait until I win once,
if you please,
because I can't stand the competition!
My ego is taking a beating.
The eBook will be sold on websites like
and
I'll let you know the release date on this Blog.
Probably in time for Christmas.
The other book will either be handled by an Agent
or sold as an eBook next year sometime.
I'll get back to my ranting
and raving
and being a blowhard tomorrow on this Blog.
So wish me luck on my entry into
The Writers Of The Future Contest.

This is,
I'm Hoping Hoping Hoping Hoping Hoping That I At Least Place Third This Time,
Jim Hauenstein,

And,

“No one either loves to lose or loves a loser. So don't quit until you win”
- Constance Chuks Friday -

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
