About Me

My photo
Hello my fellow Politiores Troglodytes. This Blog is a collection of Posts, Poems, & Short Stories that I write on a daily basis. If you find it entertaining, informative, and controversial, then I have done my job properly. Thank goodness too, because Karma has been on my case of late. I'm supposed to bring fifty people into the fold or I'll have to give back the part of Einstein's brain I inherited. No, I'm not one of the Scientists who got a piece of his brain when he died. Karma said, "Eat this knowledge. It'll make you smarter!" The bargain I made with Karma was, if I could change fifty people into Politiores Populos, I would be rewarded with my very own Lamborghini. So, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! Like what you're reading, then read on. P.S. Populo is Latin for people. Politiores is Latin for educated. Troglodytes is English for troglodytes. And Einstein's brain was stolen by Thomas Stoltz Harvey after his death in 1955 and eventually divvied up into 240 pieces. If you just read that last sentence, then you have just learned something and I'm just that much closer to fulfilling my commitment to Karma!

Still No Sign

It's September 23rd
and still no sign of the end of the World.
On September 1st I wrote a Post called,
"Here It Comes Again, The End Of The World,"
where I explained that the
Reverend Efrain Rodriguez
was writing letters to NASA stating that the end of the World was coming
and it would happen sometime between
September 21st to September 28th!
The good part is,
my friend Bob,
who I have known since 1978,
will be able to have his birthday tomorrow on the 24th.
Won't that be nice.
Next,
I hope we can get to the 27th of this month so my grandson can have his birthday.
Hoping the the good Reverend is mistaken about his dates on the end of the World,
my Dad's birthday is coming up on the 30th.
He'll be 90 years old
and wouldn't it be a pisser if the end of the World happened on his birthday!

This is,
Hunkered Down In My Home Made Bunker,
Jim Hauenstein,

And,

“They say the captain goes down with the ship, so when the world ends, will God go down with it?”
- Fall Out Boy -

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
