About Me

My photo
Hello my fellow Politiores Troglodytes. This Blog is a collection of Posts, Poems, & Short Stories that I write on a daily basis. If you find it entertaining, informative, and controversial, then I have done my job properly. Thank goodness too, because Karma has been on my case of late. I'm supposed to bring fifty people into the fold or I'll have to give back the part of Einstein's brain I inherited. No, I'm not one of the Scientists who got a piece of his brain when he died. Karma said, "Eat this knowledge. It'll make you smarter!" The bargain I made with Karma was, if I could change fifty people into Politiores Populos, I would be rewarded with my very own Lamborghini. So, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! Like what you're reading, then read on. P.S. Populo is Latin for people. Politiores is Latin for educated. Troglodytes is English for troglodytes. And Einstein's brain was stolen by Thomas Stoltz Harvey after his death in 1955 and eventually divvied up into 240 pieces. If you just read that last sentence, then you have just learned something and I'm just that much closer to fulfilling my commitment to Karma!

I'm Putting My Head On A Computer

How many
Frankenstein Humans
do you think are walking around today?
Zero?
Within two years their could be one!
"Human head transplant edges closer to reality: Chinese surgeon teams up with Italian doctor to perform controversial procedure in 2017." Story by Sarah Griffiths for the Daily Mail. "A Chinese surgeon has joined forces with an Italian doctor to prepare for what would be the world's first human head transplant. A Russian man who suffers from a serious medical condition is set to become the first person to undergo the controversial procedure, devised by Sergio Canavero and Ren Xiaoping. Dr Canavero said that the operation will change the course of history and could lead to cures for previously incurable conditions, such as Valery Spiridonov's muscular atrophy. Spiridonov, a 30-year-old computer scientist, has previously told MailOnline he is ready to put his trust in the experts who claim they can cut off his head and attach it to a healthy body. He said: ‘My decision is final and I do not plan to change my mind. A lifelong sufferer of the rare genetic Werdnig-Hoffman muscle wasting disease, he said he wants the chance of a new body before he dies. Doctor Canavero said a successful head transplant would change the course of human history by curing incurable medical conditions," China.org reported.
What do I think of
Head Transplants?
Well,
I haven't thought about living forever before.
I like to think of myself as a realist when it comes to
Life & Death.
Of course,
these two Doctors will do the
First One
for free.
For the
Fame & Glory.
Then they'll do
Head Transplants
for Billionaires,
then Millionaires.
When it finally becomes affordable for you and I,
we won't be here.
And come on?
How long do you really want to sit around,
on a couch,
watching Sitcom TV?
Until they bring back
Gilligan's Island?
With less people dying,
and more people being born,
the World will be getting pretty small,
with less resources,
splitting everything in two!
The
Haves
and the
Have-nots!
Keep me alive if you want someone to volunteer to inhabit a Planet around the Star KOI-351.
I'll go along for that ride!

This is,
Still Undecided If I Should Live Forever,
Jim Hauenstein,

And,

"Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever!"
- Mahatma Gandhi -

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
