About Me

My photo
Hello my fellow Politiores Troglodytes. This Blog is a collection of Posts, Poems, & Short Stories that I write on a daily basis. If you find it entertaining, informative, and controversial, then I have done my job properly. Thank goodness too, because Karma has been on my case of late. I'm supposed to bring fifty people into the fold or I'll have to give back the part of Einstein's brain I inherited. No, I'm not one of the Scientists who got a piece of his brain when he died. Karma said, "Eat this knowledge. It'll make you smarter!" The bargain I made with Karma was, if I could change fifty people into Politiores Populos, I would be rewarded with my very own Lamborghini. So, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! Like what you're reading, then read on. P.S. Populo is Latin for people. Politiores is Latin for educated. Troglodytes is English for troglodytes. And Einstein's brain was stolen by Thomas Stoltz Harvey after his death in 1955 and eventually divvied up into 240 pieces. If you just read that last sentence, then you have just learned something and I'm just that much closer to fulfilling my commitment to Karma!

going to
Mars
on the
lander.
On Monday, Nov. 26, 2018, just before noon PT (3 p.m. ET; 2000 UTC/GMT), NASA’s InSight mission will land on Mars! The spacecraft will plunge through the thin Martian atmosphere, heat-shield first, and use a parachute to slow down. Then, it will fire its retro rockets to slowly descend to the surface. Yours is among 2.4 million names that will be on Mars when InSight touches down. Once on the surface, InSight will study the deep interior of Mars to advance our understanding of the early history of all rocky planets, including Earth. Now is the perfect time to Retrieve Your Boarding Pass and share it online! Don't miss the opportunity to watch InSight's exciting landing. NASA will broadcast live from mission control at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif., starting at 11 a.m. PT (2 p.m. ET; 1900 UTC/GMT). Tune in to see the team receive signals from the spacecraft as it lands, plus interviews with NASA experts. Watch Online via NASA TV or Watch in Person at a viewing party near you. See you on Mars! Follow InSight on Twitter and Facebook.
