Unlike the
Plastic Revolution,
which nobody seemed to notice,
and much like the
Industrial Revolution,
which everyone quickly hears about during their grade school years,
the latest
Revolution
which will come
and change our lives is the
Van Der Waals Forces.
"In physical chemistry, the van der Waals forces (or van der Waals' interaction), named after Dutch scientist Johannes Diderik van der Waals, are the residual attractive or repulsive forces between molecules or atomic groups that do not arise from a covalent bond, or electrostatic interaction of ions or of ionic groups with one another or with neutral molecules."The you Wikipedia.
Basically,
it is what creatures like spiders,
ants,
and everyone's favorite,
the
Gecko
Gecko
use to climb up walls,
glass,
and hang upside down on your ceiling.
I've seen several shows on the different studies being done around the
World
World
and the wonderful inventions soon to be coming our way.
Everything from removable tape,
where you can hang devices
or paintings anywhere on any wall in your house
or office,
to wearable gloves.
For safely climbing up skyscrapers.
You get the idea.
A great example of the future is the
"Tiny Robot"
that weighs 20 milligrams
but can carry 500 milligrams
or pull 2,000 times its own weight.

We will all soon be able to hang anything anywhere,
including ourselves,
up side down.

If you missed the TV show
"Telescope"
on the
yesterday,
the
will be broadcasting the show today at 9 P.T.
If you love everything about space like I do,
you will want to see this show.
This is,
Hoping For A New Telescope
Soon To Be Delivered To My House

And,
“Unlike what you may be told in other sectors of life, when observing the universe, size does matter, which often leads to polite ‘telescope envy’ at gatherings of amateur astronomers.”
