About Me

My photo
Hello my fellow Politiores Troglodytes. This Blog is a collection of Posts, Poems, & Short Stories that I write on a daily basis. If you find it entertaining, informative, and controversial, then I have done my job properly. Thank goodness too, because Karma has been on my case of late. I'm supposed to bring fifty people into the fold or I'll have to give back the part of Einstein's brain I inherited. No, I'm not one of the Scientists who got a piece of his brain when he died. Karma said, "Eat this knowledge. It'll make you smarter!" The bargain I made with Karma was, if I could change fifty people into Politiores Populos, I would be rewarded with my very own Lamborghini. So, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! Like what you're reading, then read on. P.S. Populo is Latin for people. Politiores is Latin for educated. Troglodytes is English for troglodytes. And Einstein's brain was stolen by Thomas Stoltz Harvey after his death in 1955 and eventually divvied up into 240 pieces. If you just read that last sentence, then you have just learned something and I'm just that much closer to fulfilling my commitment to Karma!

Some Of The Things That I Have Noticed

Well,
I am back
Boys & Girls.
Not yet
One-Hundred Percent Healthy,
more like
Eighty-Five Percent.
But,
that will not hinder my opinions on this beautiful
Saturday Evening.
I even got up
and out of bed to go hiking this morning at the
Heart Rock Falls Trails
near
A really nice hike of 1.4 miles in,
until you see the falls,
then 1.4 miles back to the parking lot.
On a scale of 1 to 5,
One
being the easiest trails to walk
and
Five
being the hardest,
I give the
Heart Rock Falls Trail
a 3 because of its
Up & Down
paths inside a mountain range.
________

I spent a lot of time watching
TV
this week.
Something I try not to do anymore,
since I have so many more options for spending my time.
But,
here comes my rant
and rave for today,
because I believe,
people get the impression that what they see on
TV
is how life actually is!
These are four things I have noticed that just do not make sense in the real World.

Number One; On the movie screen or on your Television screen, when someone is being chased, and they come upon a staircase or stairway of any kind, the person being chased and the person doing the chasing always step on every step of the stairs! No one ever skips a few stairs to go that little bit faster!

Number Two; This next one was actually proven, in my eyes, from an episode of Live PD on the A&E Network. People see all the time on TV and in the movies, heroes to zeros, jumping through a pane of glass in windows and nothing ever happening to them. This is a complete lie. And when I saw an episode of Live PD and a guy tried to jump through a bedroom widow to escape, he ended up slicing his forehead, stomach, and one leg so bad the cameras were turned off because they didn't want the public seeing this man bleed to death. Luckily, at the end of the program, they updated the man's condition as being stable and on his way to a hospital.

Number Three; There are always exceptions to every rule, but let me tell you, the odds are against you as being one of those exceptions. Do not ever believe that when someone pulls a gun on you, then shoots, that you will be walking away talking to family and the Police like nothing has ever happened. You will be dead.

Number Four; This has actually started to be questioned and answered in some of the Super Hero Movies coming out of late. But why is it, that a Super Hero can fight a Super Villain, and with all the destruction to the city they both cause, there is never Collateral Damage? I guess the old Civil Defense is back in business and they seem to have enough time to evacuate everyone out of the buildings just in time to save everyone's life!

This is,
Some Of The Things That I Have Noticed While Feeling Ill
And Lying On The Couch
Jim Hauenstein,

And,

“Thousands of tired, nerve-shaken, over-civilized people are beginning to find out that going to the mountains is going home; that wildness is a necessity”
- John Muir, -

That is my story and I am sticking to it!
