About Me

My photo
Hello my fellow Politiores Troglodytes. This Blog is a collection of Posts, Poems, & Short Stories that I write on a weekly basis. If you find it entertaining, informative, and controversial, then I have done my job properly. Thank goodness too, because Karma has been on my case of late. I'm supposed to bring fifty people into the fold or I'll have to give back the part of Einstein's brain I inherited. No, I'm not one of the Scientists who got a piece of his brain when he died. Karma said, "Eat this knowledge. It'll make you smarter!" The bargain I made with Karma was, if I could change fifty people into Politiores Populos, I would be rewarded with my very own Lamborghini. So, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! Like what you're reading, then read on. P.S. Populo is Latin for people. Politiores is Latin for educated. Troglodytes is English for troglodytes. And Einstein's brain was stolen by Thomas Stoltz Harvey after his death in 1955 and eventually divvied up into 240 pieces. If you just read that last sentence, then you have just learned something and I'm just that much closer to fulfilling my commitment to Karma!

An Agitator And A New Follower

First things first.
My old
Nemesis,
Archenemy,
or just a really
Sarcastic Foe,
has come back to haunt my dreams by
Commenting
again on one of my Posts.
Yes,
The Jeff
is back!
On my Post,
The Jeff
said,
and I quote;
This story really "Hacks" me off.
The Jeff,
master of the sarcastic word,
is really a pretty funny
and well mannered guy.
Unless you get on his wrong side.
He is the

Check it out.
It's pretty funny.
They pretty much look like the folks in the above picture too!
My sources in the underworld have told me that a new episode is on its way.
Look for it this

The one strange thing about their show is the

He has been a life long friend of mine who I didn't recognize.
He played drums in a couple of bands I was in.
The last photo I saw of him was coming out of the water after he completed the second leg of an

fit and lean,
but now there is a lot of blubber surrounding that leanness.
He said that was the last time he was ever going to do the

and for the last five years he has been proving it by drinking a lot of beer.

I reached another milestone over my summer vacation.
My sister,

Because of her,

I have reached the

I am still waiting for that

you promised me thirty-five years ago.
You must be looking real hard for a real good woman for me,
huh?
Is that why it is taking so long?

(I have to write a disclaimer here. My wife just read my joke and she doesn't think it is very funny. Sorry Honey. It's only a joke!)

Oh, by the way. Did you see today's headlines on the website;
"Trump campaign solicits illegal foreign donations despite warnings."
Great, now Trump will owe favors to foreign contributors for giving him campaign donations.
Wait? Isn't that illegal?
Yes, yes it is.

I'm Back

A few days ago I returned home to
from my month long vacation,
of visiting my relatives
and friends from the state I grew up in,
One month was not long enough.
A friend of mine,
who teaches at
in
called me up on the Friday of the last weekend I was in town.
He invited me to a party on Saturday,
the next day,
where I would be able to pick up a guitar
or microphone
and play a few songs with other guest.
Just an impromptu jam session.
I wasn't able to make it because my daughter
and her family was coming into town,
from the state of
to see me
and I haven't seen her in over six years.
But the offer did get me thinking.
Thinking about what
 once called those
"Glory Days."
I played in a couple of bands with the
Professor
who teaches at
Bowie State.
He dressed like a professor,
back in the day,
at our gigs too!
Wearing a pulled over sweater,
while I tried many personas,
like the punk rocker with the spike wrist band,
sometimes spiked dog collar,
and a
Green Beret
hat.
We were good at times
and bad some other times,
but we always had fun.
"Glory Days!"

Do The Research

What computer driven device cannot be
Hack?
None!
They all can be hacked.
Now,
if you are a
user,
you may
or may not know about the
This malware effects
10 Million Android Devices
already
and millions are at risk.
The
Hacker Group,
who came up with the malware is out of
China
and are called
Yingmob.
If you think you are safe with an
iPhone,
think again.
They are suspected of the
iOS
malware,
Yispecter.
Which effects millions of devices already.
What can you do about it?
Do the research because the article I was reading didn't have an answer.

The Month Of June Is Named After Juno. The Principle Goddess Of The Roman Pantheon. She Is The Wife And Sister Of Jupiter.

Well,
here we are again.
Looking at
"The 5 Best Posts"
of a
Month
gone by where I forgot to write what they were in that
Month.
Did that make any sense?
This
Month's Best
are from last
Month,
June, 2016.
I will be caught up after this,
so I will be able to forge ahead with my usual
Anecdotes
on life.
I can feel the electricity in the air from all the anticipation coming from the large crowd gathered here today to read
"The 5 Best Posts of June, 2016."
Did you know that the
month of
June
is named after
Juno.
The principle goddess of the Roman Pantheon.
She is the goddess of marriage
and the well-being of women.
She is the wife
and
sister of Jupiter.
Here is photograph of Juno with Jupiter.

Now,
the Number Five Best Post from June is;
" I believe the name itself pretty much explains it all. I do into a little detail on what I will do and whom I will see, but basically it is letting everyone know I am on Vacation."

The Number Four Best Post from June is;
"A poem I wrote after I read an old Aborigines saying, "Starve the Bardies."

The Number Three Best Post from June is;
"Using the famous quote from Thomas Wolfe, I tell the story of seeing how different everything is, being back home in Wisconsin. Then I end up telling a tale of the last time I got to hunt deer with my brother and brother-in-law."

The Number Two Best Post from June is;
"The true story about the only time I was ever in a bar fight. Actually, I never swung at anyone, but there was a bar fight going on all around me."

Drum Roll Please.
The Number One Best Post from June, 2016 is;
"Another true story, this time about my adventure of driving from California to Wisconsin. How I hit a deer, totaled my daughter's car, and the ruckus I caused at my Father's 55 & Older Apartment Community after I arrived."

There you have it.

I Missed A Deadline, OK, But I Still Got It In, Didn't I?

Last year,
at the end of each month,
I started
Posting
"The 5 Best Posts of the Month."
Explaining a little about the most popular read
Posts
from every
Month
For some reason I have lost sight of doing this every
Month.
I would like to get back to doing it,
consistently.
But first,
I would like to catch up by presenting
"The 5 Best Posts"
from the
Months
that I have missed.
I did do
and
I did miss
May's
and
June's
though.
So,
here are
"The 5 Best Posts Of May 2016"

Number Five on our Countdown is;
"The Humorous Banter between myself and one of my Annotators, known to me as The Jeff. I even put up a false Mug Shot of some criminal looking person, saying it was Jeff. The Jeff took the whole thing well too. Considering, he can be quite intimidating!"

Number Four on our Countdown is;
"It starts out by explaining why I missed a day of writing this Blog, taking a shot at Donald Trump, and ends with Comments made by The Jeff. Too Much Fun."

Number Three on our Countdown is;
"It's about Taoism and the philosopher Lao Tzu. I wrote down some of his quotes that I kind of like. I even have a quote of my own near the end."

Number Two on our Countdown is;
"Explaining how the work place and any public computer can have Spyware on it and if you do any online banking while on these computers, you could be giving someone all of your passwords."

And The Number One Post, Of All Time, In The Month Of May, 2016 Is;
"I don't want to give anything away about the story, I would love if you read it. It is a Short Story that I wrote and am really surprised on how many views it has gotten. Thank You. It's Science Fiction, but I believe anyone can enjoy the story."

Well there you have it.
"The 5 Best Posts of May, 2016."
Check them out.
You will probably find something you like.

This is,
Going To Be Working On The Five Best Posts Of June, 2016 Tomorrow.
