I usually don't like to promote one search engine over the other but in my studies....
Don't I sound so pedagogic!
Keeping with my theme of yesterday,
that of learning,
I have found that reading scientific papers late at night can really put me to sleep.
I mean,
it feeds this craving mind I have for knowledge!
Like the other day,
when I wanted to read articles on
"Planetary Boundaries Framework."
Just your usual light reading I dare say.
First I went with the old granddads of the search world,
Found everything I was looking for,
including tons of tracking cookies to bog down my web browsing.
Then I went to one of the newer kids on the block,
because they profess that;
"DuckDuckGo is an internet search engine that emphasizes protecting
searchers' privacy and avoiding the filter bubble of personalized
search results. DuckDuckGo distinguishes itself from other search
engines by not profiling its users and by showing all users the same
search results for a given search term."
Which is a good thing since they are not using algorithms to put forward groups who pay to be first in line when you search a subject.
Also,
these algorithms like to put up the worst case scenarios to hopefully outrage you so you keep clicking more websites, which in turn pays the bills for these grandad search engines.
Sorry,
sometimes I get carried away when I am talking about the
Back to all the scientific papers on the
"Planetary Boundaries Framework."
"Planetary Boundaries Framework."
Ahhhh,
just go to
it's easier.
