About Me

My photo
Hello my fellow Politiores Troglodytes. This Blog is a collection of Posts, Poems, & Short Stories that I write on a daily basis. If you find it entertaining, informative, and controversial, then I have done my job properly. Thank goodness too, because Karma has been on my case of late. I'm supposed to bring fifty people into the fold or I'll have to give back the part of Einstein's brain I inherited. No, I'm not one of the Scientists who got a piece of his brain when he died. Karma said, "Eat this knowledge. It'll make you smarter!" The bargain I made with Karma was, if I could change fifty people into Politiores Populos, I would be rewarded with my very own Lamborghini. So, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! Like what you're reading, then read on. P.S. Populo is Latin for people. Politiores is Latin for educated. Troglodytes is English for troglodytes. And Einstein's brain was stolen by Thomas Stoltz Harvey after his death in 1955 and eventually divvied up into 240 pieces. If you just read that last sentence, then you have just learned something and I'm just that much closer to fulfilling my commitment to Karma!

What Is On My Mind

As many of you know,
I have been driving for
this year to make a little extra money.
As you all will find out,
if you haven't already,
retirement sucks.
Unless you have something to do.
I am getting off track here.
The reason that I brought up the fact that I am driving for
is,
I am on the road a lot,
and I am always on the lookout for
Reckless Drivers.
A disheartening thing is going on,
on our roads of late.
Thanks to all the
Unlimited Data Plans
cell-phone companies are offering.
What the heck am I talking about?
Well,
people are not paying attention to the road,
while they are driving,
because they are watching
on their cell-phones!

STOP IT!

Gregg Popovich has blunt answer for why giving back is so important.
By
"Those who follow the NBA regularly know that San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich can be a little blunt at times. He’s that way when talking basketball during his in-game interviews, but apparently Popovich has a similar approach when talking about other matters — like giving back to the community. The Spurs coach was asked why he thinks it’s important to give back to the community: "Because we’re rich as hell and we don’t need it all, and other people need it. Then, you’re an a-- if you don’t give it. Pretty simple." Well, that’s one way of putting it. One has to wonder if Popovich had anyone in mind, or if it was just a general statement. Either way, the overall message is right. Many people in professional sports do give an awful lot to their communities, especially during the holiday season."

I like this
Greg Popovich.
He seems like a really intelligent guy.

This is,

I Will Give A Lot Of Money To Charity,
Jim Hauenstein,

And,

“I am proud to say that I am not in it for the money. If I made a million dollars, I would donate most of it to various charities and libraries.”
- Selena I. R. Drake, -

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
