About Me

My photo
Hello my fellow Politiores Troglodytes. This Blog is a collection of Posts, Poems, & Short Stories that I write on a daily basis. If you find it entertaining, informative, and controversial, then I have done my job properly. Thank goodness too, because Karma has been on my case of late. I'm supposed to bring fifty people into the fold or I'll have to give back the part of Einstein's brain I inherited. No, I'm not one of the Scientists who got a piece of his brain when he died. Karma said, "Eat this knowledge. It'll make you smarter!" The bargain I made with Karma was, if I could change fifty people into Politiores Populos, I would be rewarded with my very own Lamborghini. So, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! Like what you're reading, then read on. P.S. Populo is Latin for people. Politiores is Latin for educated. Troglodytes is English for troglodytes. And Einstein's brain was stolen by Thomas Stoltz Harvey after his death in 1955 and eventually divvied up into 240 pieces. If you just read that last sentence, then you have just learned something and I'm just that much closer to fulfilling my commitment to Karma!

Thank You Cyberpunks For Free Technology

Today,
is the day,
you will learn about a new,
upcoming Technology.
Since this new
"Bitcoin Technology"
(which has actually been around for years)
will probably revolutionize everything from how you pay for purchases,
proving ownership of property,
to direct deposit of funds into a virtual account.
(Those are some of my guesses.)
You need to know this stuff.
If you're a geek,
nerd,
cyberpunk,
or even a gamer,
you might have
heard of or understand the new technology behind bitcoin.
If you're not,
I'll try to explain as best as I can.
No that would be useless.
I'll quote Nermin Hajdarbegovic,
who is Technical Editor @ www.Toptal.com/
"Like most good stories, the bitcoin saga begins with a creation myth.
The open-source cryptocurrency protocol was published in 2009 by Satoshi Nakamoto, an anonymous developer (or group of bitcoin developers) hiding behind this alias. The true identity of Satoshi Nakamoto has not been revealed yet, although the concept traces its roots back to the cypher-punk movement; and there’s no shortage of speculative theories across the web regarding Satoshi’s identity.
Bitcoin spent the next few years languishing, viewed as nothing more than another internet curiosity reserved for geeks and crypto-enthusiasts. Bitcoin eventually gained traction within several crowds.
The different groups had little to nothing in common – ranging from the gathering fans, to black hat hackers, anarchists, libertarians, and "Darknet" drug dealers; and eventually became accepted by legitimate entrepreneurs and major brands like Dell, Microsoft, and Newegg.
"Blockchain Encryption" is the technology backbone of the new bitcoin network and provides a tamper-proof data structure, providing a shared public ledger open to all. The mathematics involved are impressive, and the use of specialized hardware to construct this vast chain of cryptographic data renders it practically impossible to replicate. Blockchain technology works, plainly and simply, even in its bitcoin incarnation. A cryptographic blockchain could be used to digitally sign sensitive information, and decentralize trust; along with being used to develop smart contracts and escrow services, tokenization, authentication, and much more."
So what I read into this is,
Blockchain Technology
has countless potential applications
and other virtual money exchange uses that you will be hearing more and more about it,
in the coming years.
Lookout!
A revolution in the economy is coming!

On another subject,
if you are not a cyberpunk
or all around technologist who likes to explore the seedier side of things,
you probably haven't even heard of the "Darknet."
I'll again quote here.
"A Darknet is an overlay network that can only be accessed with specific software, configurations, or authorization, often using non-standard communications protocols and ports." - Wikipedia -
If you really want to go to the underbelly of society
and live in the cyberpunk World,
just search the word Darknet
and you'll find plenty of websites explaining how to get the software and get onto the net.
But remember,
the US Government already knows about the Darknet
and has set up its own sites to lure unsuspecting surfers,
gun runners,
and drug dealers to bust them.
I had my phase on the Darknet a couple of years ago.
If you're looking for free normal downloadable music,
movies,
or software,
try using a Torrent instead.

This is Jim Hauenstein,

And,

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
