Selfies

I hope I'm the first one to let you know how important
"Social Media"
is to our security.

I'm not kidding about this.

I quote directly from the
"defensetech.org"
website.

"Air Force Gen. Hawk Carlisle, head of Air Combat Command, described Monday how airmen at Hurlburt Field, Florida, with the 361st Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Group, recognized a comment on social media and turned that into an airstrike that resulted in three Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) bombs destroying an Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) headquarters building."

Apparently,
one ISIS member took a
"Selfie,"
 of himself in front of an ISIS Headquarters building in Syria,
bragging about the command center,
and control capabilities that Daesh,
ISIL,
or ISIS has.

Or whatever name they are using this year to try to keep themselves relevant.

If you didn't know,
a
"Selfie"
is a photo taken by yourself,
of yourself,
usually with the camera on a cell phone.
Man,
I wish I could Post that
"Selfie"
right now.
In less than 24 hours after the photo was posted on Social Media the building,
and whomever was inside was taken out.

Remember the World War Two saying,
"Loose Lips Sink Ships?"
Today,
it should be updated to,
"Selfish - Selfies - Shells Headquarters!"
