About Me

My photo
Hello my fellow Politiores Troglodytes. This Blog is a collection of Posts, Poems, & Short Stories that I write on a weekly basis. If you find it entertaining, informative, and controversial, then I have done my job properly. Thank goodness too, because Karma has been on my case of late. I'm supposed to bring fifty people into the fold or I'll have to give back the part of Einstein's brain I inherited. No, I'm not one of the Scientists who got a piece of his brain when he died. Karma said, "Eat this knowledge. It'll make you smarter!" The bargain I made with Karma was, if I could change fifty people into Politiores Populos, I would be rewarded with my very own Lamborghini. So, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! Like what you're reading, then read on. P.S. Populo is Latin for people. Politiores is Latin for educated. Troglodytes is English for troglodytes. And Einstein's brain was stolen by Thomas Stoltz Harvey after his death in 1955 and eventually divvied up into 240 pieces. If you just read that last sentence, then you have just learned something and I'm just that much closer to fulfilling my commitment to Karma!

Chivalrous

First,
I want to welcome aboard,
the Donald Trump loving
"Anonymous,"
but signing her Comment as
"K."
Finally,
like all sneaky Right Wingers,
she reveals her true identity as the registered,
card carrying,
full blooded,
Republican,
Kathleen R/@!$.
I'm blocking the spelling of her last name to protect the innocent bystanders who could possibly get shot,
because of some crazy Left Winger Patriot taking pot shots at her!
Just kidding.
She is a good friend,
ill informed,
but still a good friend.
Second,
I did have someone email me at
and they told me that I'm a
"Pig."
I'm sure they meant to write,
that I'm a
"Chauvinist Pig,"
because that is exactly who I am.
This person didn't like the line in my last Post,
"Girlfriends,"
 about
"dressing them up nicely,"
 when I referred to
"Ugly Betty's."
If you know me,
I love to look at all women.
I imagine how this person would be if I ever met them.
It's a writing technique that is taught in
"Writing Classes."
You look at a person and imagine a whole life surrounding
that person.
All women are beautiful to me.
Everyone in life likes to look at beautiful things.
I do too!
Saying that,
I would never approach some stranger on the street
and try to
"Pick Them Up!"
I have an imagination,
I'm not a pervert.
When I say I'm a
"Chauvinist Pig,"
 I mean,
I open doors for Ladies,
I give up my seat in crowded situations,
and when I was the singer in a Rock Band,
women always got in the Clubs for free.
I don't understand the mentality of some people today,
who think you treat women like they are men.
I'll always be
"Chivalrous"
 to a fault to women.
Even if I have to put my coat over a puddle to let a Lady walk on it so her shoes won't get wet.
Unless of course
"She Is A Card Carrying Republican"
who is set on voting for Donald Trump!

This is,
The Chauvinist Pig,
Jim Hauenstein,

And,

"As a Texan, I say ma'm and sir to my age contemporaries and open doors for anyone that I can. This goes for men, too, though it is appreciated when they beat me to it and disappointing when they don't."
- Tiffany Madison -

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Girlfriends

Today's Post,
is probably the hardest one I've ever written.
The subject matter is unique to each individual.
Someone close to me asked,
"What's it like to have a girlfriend?"
Wow,
how do you answer that one?
I,
mistakenly tried.
I said,
"At times,
you'll be happier then you have ever been in your life,
then you'll be so confused,
you don't know what had hit you!"
What I should have said is,
"I have no idea!"
You see,
all my life,
I have gone out with a certain kind of woman.
I'm not saying they are bad,
or uncaring women.
I'm saying,
they are women who are headstrong,
determined,
and believe their way is the only way.
If I said,
"I have no idea,"
this person wouldn't be contaminated by my advice.
My problem was,
not really a problem per se,
if I had a choice between two women,
where one who could have been a good friend to me for life
and could have helped me further my career,
but looked liked
"Ugly Betty,"
and then,
there was one who looked like she had great
"Ass-sets,"
but was a
"Psycho"
like Norman Bates,
I always ended up with the one with the
"Ass-sets."
It was my choice and I loved every minute of it.
It's always an adventure with this kind of woman.
You never know from one minute to the next if you'll be happy
or confused.
It could be dangerous.
Like the time a girlfriend from my past said in a crowded Bar to a bunch of drunks,
"My boyfriend is going to kick your ass!"
And it can be beautiful at times.
Like having
"Seven Children"
from the woman I married.
"What does it feel like having a girlfriend?"
Well,
"You haven't lived if you have never had one,
and you're not living until you do!"
Its what makes your World go around.
P.S.
I found out too late,
that the
"Ugly Betty's"
aren't so ugly,
because once you get them alone,
dress them up nicely,
and you treat them with respect,
"They are always the nice ones!"
If you know what I mean!

Spy Through Your Glasses

It's been a long weekend for me.
Sorry that I haven't written anything,
two out of the last four days.
I was at a Funeral.
When I was watching other guest at this Funeral I was attending,
since it was out-of-doors,
I noticed most attendees wearing sunglasses.
Maybe five years ago this wouldn't worry a person,
more like ten years ago,
but today,
you could be video taped by a sunglasses wearing weasel.
You have probably heard about
"Google Glasses,"
where you will be able to do just about anything your cell phone can,
including video recording,
on a pair of glasses.
The nice thing about
"Google Glasses"
is,
you can actually have your eye prescription filled,
using them as a pair of regular glasses!
Well,
"Google"
didn't come up with the idea of video recording glass wear,
it's been going on for awhile.
It's just that the technology has progressed along side of the release of
"Google Glasses."
Before,
you could see a wire coming from the end of the glasses going to a pocket,
or you could actually see the lens and microphone on either side of the glasses.
Now the technology has become so small you can't even tell if someone is using
"Spy Glasses,"
unless you look for a couple of signs.
"Google"
makes it kind of obvious that someone is wearing their glasses.
They use the small rims to surround the glass,
but on one side of the glasses,
on one stem which wraps around an ear,
they attach all the hardware for the computer functions.
It is very noticeable.
Unlike video glasses,
made just to record sight and sounds,
the hardware is built into the stems
and frames surrounding the glass.
Most hide their hardware in the stem so the wearer can hide the bulk with their hair.
Another obvious clue is,
if someone is wearing their sunglasses everywhere they go.
Inside,
outside,
to public bathrooms,
or anywhere that seems a little strange that someone is wearing their sunglasses.
"Spy Glasses,"
as a general rule will be sunglasses,
which makes them cheaper to make and easier to sell.
Should you fear or worry about "Spy glasses?"
Are they really that prevalent?
Unlike
"Google Glasses,"
which sell today anywhere from $1,000 to $1,500,
you can find a pair of
"Spy Glasses"
selling for as low as $59.99,
plus cost of Memory.
For this pair of
"Glasses"
you can purchase,
through their company,
2GB of Memory for $16.99,
8GB for $29.99,
and 16GB for $46.99.
It uses a standard
Micro SD Card
so you can actually find cheaper deals on Memory.
On the higher end,
just one of many brands out there,
there is a Company that sells a pair of
"Spy Glasses"
for $389.99
and has features like 64GB of Memory,
720p HD,
Weatherproof,
Anti-Shake Video Stabilization,
Date & Time Stamp,
Interchangeable Clear & Shaded Glass Wear,
USB Hookup to your Computer,
and you get the idea.
"Spy Glasses"
are dirt cheap and easy to use.
Under the
"Law"
the people wearing these glasses are supposed to inform you they are recording.
They cannot record someone under the age of 18 without the Parents permission.
They cannot record you if you tell them not to.
But,
that won't stop idiots from trying.
So,
the next time you see that
Guy or Gal
wearing a pair of large rimmed glasses in inappropriate places,
and won't take them off,
accidentally knock them off their face into a bowl of water.
If they scream,
they are little weasels,
if they don't,
swish them around in the water a little,
wipe them off,
and then say you are sorry.
Weatherproofing doesn't mean Waterproof!

This is,
The $1 A Pair Glasses Wearing,

 And,

"There will come a time when it isn't,
"They're spying on me through my phone"
 anymore. Eventually, it will be

The 1st Debate

I'm sorry to say,
I missed the Republican debate.
So I went to that unbiased,
impartial,
nonpartisan,
honest,
Political Website we all know and love,
According to Jason Easley, in his article, Debate Backfires On Fox News As Crazies Trump, Cruz, and Carson Rise To Top 3 In New Poll, - "An NBC News poll taken after the Republican debate revealed some bad news for Fox News. All of their favorite establishment candidates lost support while the lunatic fringe led by Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, and Ben Carson rose to the top three positions."-
I like the way he uses the words
"Crazies and Lunatic Fringe"
to describe the Republican Poll Leaders.
- "The intention behind the Fox News debate was to build up the “electable” Republican candidates while getting rid of Donald Trump and ignoring the other fringe campaigns. Fox News failed on both counts. Instead of rallying their troops behind someone who could win, Fox gave momentum to the far right. Fox News might have helped the Republican Party lose the election by trying to pick the nominee for voters. Fox may guide the Republican Party, but the inmates are running the asylum."-
I have three friends who are going to hate reading my
Blog
after seeing this Post.
Still,
for me,
I love the way Fox News
and The Republican Party can write this Post for me.
With their humorous antics,
once again,
these two entities have me rolling on the floor with laughter.
Oh,

In That Better Place!

I have been called cold,
heartless,
insensitive,
and unsympathetic.
I know,
you are asking yourself,
"How can this possibly be?"
You,
of all people Jim,
are the most helpful,
loyal,
and
trustworthy.
(I sound like someone's pet dog.)
You are the most giving human being on the face of the
Earth!
Putting away my inflated ego for a minute,
I've been told this,
because how I act,
when I'm at a Funeral.
When I was in my twenties,
my younger brother died.
It was the first time that I really saw death,
as a finality.
Sure,
I had Aunts,
Uncles,
and Grandparents die while I was growing up,
but as a kid,
my Parents kind of sheltered me from the true pain of it all.
I was so distraught at the time of his death,
that I almost did something foolish.
And that's for Me and My Maker to know,
and for you to guess what it was.
Before my Mother passed away,
I was a selfish person.
I didn't want her to die.
Growing up,
she always told everyone in the family,
"I never want to be kept alive,
if you have to keep me alive,
on a machine."
When it came time,
I was out voted,
everyone in the family wanted to fulfill our Mother's wishes,
while I voted to keep her alive on a machine.
Was I thinking about her well being,
or what I wanted?
I went to a Wake yesterday,
and if you watch closely,
everyone grieves in their own way.
My philosophy derives from the wonderful conversations I had with a unique individual.
He was my friend.
He was also disabled,
but never complained about it.
That was my friend Jeff who also passed away a couple years back.
We would talk for hours each day.
Everything from Physics,
Time Travel,
Aliens,
to how we both agreed that our true essence is pure energy.
We discussed how Albert Einstein said energy cannot be destroyed,
but keeps on going.
When I was growing up,
I said my Parents sheltered me from the true pain of it all.
It wasn't that I was sheltered from the Funerals,
it's because of our family tradition that I think most families have.
Afterwards,
everyone gets together to drink a few beers in the deceases honor,
eat good food,
and tell stories about how this person influenced their lives.
Being young,
I chose to only remember the gatherings afterwards,
not the Funerals.
And I choose to do the same thing today.
If you truly believe,
that when a person dies he goes to a better place,
like I do,
we are not grieving because their Soul is on a new journey,
we are grieving because we were left behind
and we will not see that Soul again until we follow that journey ourselves.
I choose to cry,
to myself.
I choose to celebrate the time I had with that person.
And I choose to look forward to when we will all be together again,
"In That Better Place!"

This is Jim Hauenstein,

And,

"To all the people I have met in my life who have passed away.
I thank you for the time you shared with me!"
