About Me

My photo
Hello my fellow Politiores Troglodytes. This Blog is a collection of Posts, Poems, & Short Stories that I write on a daily basis. If you find it entertaining, informative, and controversial, then I have done my job properly. Thank goodness too, because Karma has been on my case of late. I'm supposed to bring fifty people into the fold or I'll have to give back the part of Einstein's brain I inherited. No, I'm not one of the Scientists who got a piece of his brain when he died. Karma said, "Eat this knowledge. It'll make you smarter!" The bargain I made with Karma was, if I could change fifty people into Politiores Populos, I would be rewarded with my very own Lamborghini. So, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! Like what you're reading, then read on. P.S. Populo is Latin for people. Politiores is Latin for educated. Troglodytes is English for troglodytes. And Einstein's brain was stolen by Thomas Stoltz Harvey after his death in 1955 and eventually divvied up into 240 pieces. If you just read that last sentence, then you have just learned something and I'm just that much closer to fulfilling my commitment to Karma!

Two-Thousand-Mile-Long Fish In Orbit Around Jupiter

This false-color image was created by selecting and combining the best images obtained from many short VISIR exposures at a wavelength of 5 micrometers. Credit: ESO/L. Fletcher

What,
do you think this was our Sun?
It's the highest-resolution map to date of
Jupiter.
Taken by the
NASA"s
Spacecraft.
It will be arriving,
to orbit
Jupiter,
on
July 4th.
"The false-color thermal infrared image shows temperature, weather, and cloud patterns in Jupiter's atmosphere, which takes up most of the planet."
Yes I agree,
you have to be a scientist to be able to understand what you are
looking at.
It is exciting though.
Check
website after you recover from you outdoor grilling,
and beer drinking swilling,
from the long up-n-coming weekend.
Where the only celestial bodies you will be thinking about are the women running around in their summer clothes.
I might be older,
but I'm not dead.
It is OK to look,
as long as you don't touch.

This is,
Still Feeling The Effects From The Beer I Drank Yesterday,
Before And After The Baseball Game,
Jim Hauenstein,

And,

"A giant, two-thousand-mile-long fish in orbit around Jupiter, according to a reliable report in the Weekly World News. The photograph was very convincing, and I'm only surprised that more-reputable journals like New Scientist, or even just The Sun, haven't followed up with more details. We should be told.”
Douglas Adams, -

That is my story and I am sticking to it!
