"Safe Haven baby boxes have been installed in at least two communities in Indiana, allowing mothers of unwanted newborns to anonymously drop them off after a period of time, with no questions asked. Other states’ safe haven laws vary, according to the Baby Safe Haven website. In California, you can only drop off an unwanted baby at a hospital, and only within three days of the baby’s birth. By contrast, in Missouri, you can drop off the baby up to a year after birth."
Actually,
This article has it wrong.
California
does have
Safe Baby Boxes
on the side of some
Fire Stations.
Where no questions are asked.
And why should there be?
If someone is so desperate in life that they are willing to give up their child,
shouldn't the
State
provide a
Safe Haven
for that child so desperate mothers don't do something worst than just give them up?
"Colorado Town’s Entire Police Force Just Quit"
by Lee Moran for The Huffington Post
"If there’s something strange in this neighborhood, who you gonna call? Not the local police. That’s because the entire police department of Green Mountain Falls, Colorado just resigned. Police marshal Tim Bradley and three part-time volunteer reserve officers quit en masse on April 14, according to KXRM-TV. Sources told the Fox affiliate that the quartet withdrew their services “over policy” and “unhappiness” with Jane Newberry, the newly elected mayor."
I say,
good riddance.
In all the cities across
America,
Politicians
are elected by its
Citizens.
The
Police Force
stays intact no matter who is elected.
What did these guys think was going to happen when they quit their jobs?
A new election?
"Human Arrow Aides Cops: Kids Creatively Point Police Chopper To Fleeing Burglary Suspects"
by Bradley Ryder for INQUISITR
"During the Easter holidays, most children look forward to finding any signs of Peter Rabbit and hunting for, well, eggs. The last thing a group of children near London thought was they’d be helping cops hunt for crooks. And thanks to the group’s split-second thinking, they formed a “human arrow” to help catch burglary suspects on the lam. According to a United Press International report (or UPI), a group of children with their families got together in a Capel village in Surrey on Good Friday. Everyone was gathered for the annual Easter egg hunt when something got their attention. Just a short distance away, a police chopper buzzed overhead. Unbeknownst to anyone on the ground, law enforcement was on the heels of two burglary suspects who allegedly entered a nearby building without authorization. Officers chased the suspects who eventually crossed an open field. It soon became clear why the helicopter was buzzing above. The next thing that took place surprised police officers: a human arrow was formed. Footage of the pursuit shows kids lying face-down in the field with their bodies arranged in the shape of an arrow."
