Yes,
it is happening again.
What are you going to do when you don't have a job?
"Foxconn replaces 60,000 factory workers with robots."from BBC News Technology
"One factory has reduced employee strength from 110,000 to 50,000 thanks to the introduction of robots, a government official told the South China Morning Post. Xu Yulian, head of publicity for the Kunshan region, added: More companies are likely to follow suit. China is investing heavily in a robot workforce. Since September 2014, 505 factories across Dongguan, in the Guangdong province, have invested 4.2bn yuan (£430m) in robots, aiming to replace thousands of workers."
Even
China's Rich Entrepreneurs
are cutting back on their workforce who don't even make as much money as our minimum wage workers here,
in the
United States.

Greed comes in all forms
and in all countries.
Democratic Countries,
Dictatorships,
and
and
Communist Countries
alike.
I,
myself,
already refuse to go into
Fast Food Restaurants
that have a
Kiosk
instead of a human being
taking my order.
"Former McDonald's chief executive Ed Rensi recently told the US's Fox Business program a minimum-wage increase to $15 an hour would make companies consider robot workers. 'It's cheaper to buy a $35,000 robotic arm than it is to hire an employee who is inefficient, making $15 an hour bagging French fries,' he said."
Great,
when you go into a
Chinese Restaurant
and order a bowl of rice,
a machine will count out the exact number of grains each time for your meal.
There no longer will be a rapport between customer
and owner.
Where,
if you frequent an establishment often enough,
the owner
or employees get to know you,
you them,
and maybe they will give you a little extra.
A relationship you can only have with another human being,
not with a robot.

And,
“Let us remember that the automatic machine is the precise economic equivalent of slave labor. Any labor which competes with slave labor must accept the economic consequences of slave labor.”

So instead of demanding $15 they should demand $20 that will teach them a lesson.
