This Is What I Truly Believe

Whoa!

Let me say that again with the emphasis that is needed to express how I really feel.

Whoa!

I came as close as ever,

to touching the

River Styx

as anytime in my life.

Twenty years ago I

Flatlined

and I have the medical records to prove it.

This time,

it wasn't so much as I was fighting the disease to stay alive,

I kind of knew I would win that battle,

this time it was when I was recuperating.

I could feel my

Consciousness,

Life Force,

or

Soul

trying to leave my body.

My

Humanity.

I use the word

Humanity

here as a way to define what I call my

Vessel

for

Being

in this

Plane of Existence.

My

Humanity

or

Human Vessel

had to reach out

and hold my

Consciousness

onto itself

or it would have floated along the river to another

Plane of Existence.

I call this river the

River Styx.

But,

unlike the

Greeks,

I don't look as the

River Styx

as being a one way path to

Hades,

but the path that leads us to the next

Plane.

Some see a

Light,

I see a

River

that you float along to the next

Existence.

I knew I was going to beat the disease this time because I have all the machines at home to help me survive.

I have the

Pure Oxygen Machine

that I can quickly adapt as my

Nebulizer.

I have all the

Chemicals

needed for a

COPD Afflicted Person.

The reason I had a battle between my

Soul

and my

Humanity

is the same reason you hear so often,

"He died peacefully in his sleep."

My

Human Vessel

had to hold onto my

Life Force

so it wouldn't slip away while my

Humanity

was weary from the battle with my disease.

Our

Soul

is happy living in this

Plane,

but it is also anxious to go to the next.

Yet,

my

Humanity

knew that I haven't accomplish everything in this

Existence

that I want to.

So it held on so I can accomplish those things.

This is,

He seems to be an angry kind of person,

who looks at the negative side to everything.

I Am Serious About Being Serious.

My humorous attempt of me telling everyone how

Serious

Blog.

I even bring up the fact that I played in

Rock Bands

during the 1980's.

Just Don't Take My Word For It.

The person who signs off as

"Anonymous"

after each time he leaves a

Comment

said;

"What a moronic statement, we never listen to any other perspective, the media is liberal slanted and it IS the other perspective."

He said this after I used

"Rush Limbaugh"

as an example,

that if you only listen to his side of an issue,

you will be getting only half the information needed to make up your own mind on that issue.

You will only be getting a very

Conservative

point of view.

"Anonymous"

either has never listened to the

"Rush Limbaugh"

radio program,

or he has his blinders on

and can only see

and hear what he believes is the

Gospel Truth.

He tunes everything out from his thoughts,

and only hears what he has already made up his mind to.

August 8th.

I put up a Post,

talking about how I can have blinders on too sometimes.

During the

Democratic Convention,

some people in attendance showed little class.

After a

Speaker

asked the

Crowd

for a moment of silence for the fallen

Police Officers

from

Dallas,

they booed.

I didn't talk about this issue.

I stated how I thought the

Republican Convention

had a real negative feel to it

and that the

Democratic Convention

was very upbeat.

Since I mention my folly and take responsibility for it,

this is what

I Am Like All Armchair Pundits

Sometimes,

I get away from what I believe is important about writing this

Blog.

I forget my original intention for writing here.

I begin to

Rant and Rave

about the

Political Climate

we are having this

Election Year

and once I get on a roll,

I don't want to stop!

I could say that I have been baited a few times into my rants,

but I have to take responsibility for my actions.

If you have read some of my

Posts

from months gone by,

you would have come across my

Political View

more then once or twice.

I,

like most people in this

World,

know just enough about

Politics

to be

Dangerous.

I am like all

Armchair Pundits.

I have my views,

I stand by them,

and everyone else is wrong!

I'm just kidding about everyone is wrong part.

I hope everyone has a view on the

Issues

and the

Candidates

we are going to be voting for this fall.

But I need to get back to basics

and the first thing I can do  to get there is to thank everyone who has read,

or is reading again,

and who are telling their friends to read my

Short Story;

A-L-I-V.

It has quickly become my most read

Post

and

Original Short Story

since I started writing this

Blog.

I am going to start writing more

Stories Again

and put them up here,

On July 28th,

I wrote how I felt after watching the

Republican Convention,

Democratic Convention.

brought up a good point about the

Democratic Convention

and that I did not mention the fact that,

in a regrettable moment in the

Convention,

a

Speaker

asked for a moment of silence for the

Police Officers

who were killed in

Dallas

by a

Deranged Sniper.

People booed.

I too have blinders on at times.

I try to be open minded,

and to listen to both sides,

yet I found myself disregarding that moment in the

Democratic Convention.

Democrats.

But When Five Officers Are Gunned Down In The Line Of Duty,

Just Don't Take My Word For It

Throughout

History,

Great Minds,

Selfless Souls,

and

Heroic Individuals

always have had their counterpart.

Their adversary.

Julius Caesar had Brutus.

Robert Kennedy had Khrushchev.

Hillary Rodham Clinton has an image problem.

I,

Two Buck Howie,

have an adversary

and his name is

"The Jeff."

I wouldn't say that he is a

Hateful Adversary.

We are actually friends,

but he does like to keep me on my toes,

especially when I spout out about my

Political Views

here on this Blog.

In my Post;

I Usually Vote For The Lesser Of Two Evil,

I combat the rhetoric he lambasted on a different Post;

This Anonymous Comments On My Blog.

It is a battle of words that we have,

not violent interaction.

In the first Post that I have mentioned,

I told my side of the story on what I think most

Politicians

do to make money on the side,

but that I believe

Donald Trump

is more of a crook for taking illegal funds from 

Foreign Contributors

then

Hillary

has shown.

"The Jeff"

told me to watch the documentary;

Clinton Cash

to prove his point.

Luckily for me,

or is it unlucky for me,

it was broadcast last night on

One American News Channel

on cable TV.

I am not one who would have you hear only one side to any story.

That is what most

Red Nose,

Red Neck,

Republicans

do daily.

They sit

and listen to

Rush Limbaugh,

never listening to any other perspective on the subject that he is clamoring about.

They only get one side of the story

and believe it is the

Gospel Truth.

Since I know I am right about

Donald Trump,

I would not want you to just take my word for it,

so here is the

and you can decide for yourself on this subject.
