About Me

My photo
Hello my fellow Politiores Troglodytes. This Blog is a collection of Posts, Poems, & Short Stories that I write on a daily basis. If you find it entertaining, informative, and controversial, then I have done my job properly. Thank goodness too, because Karma has been on my case of late. I'm supposed to bring fifty people into the fold or I'll have to give back the part of Einstein's brain I inherited. No, I'm not one of the Scientists who got a piece of his brain when he died. Karma said, "Eat this knowledge. It'll make you smarter!" The bargain I made with Karma was, if I could change fifty people into Politiores Populos, I would be rewarded with my very own Lamborghini. So, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! Like what you're reading, then read on. P.S. Populo is Latin for people. Politiores is Latin for educated. Troglodytes is English for troglodytes. And Einstein's brain was stolen by Thomas Stoltz Harvey after his death in 1955 and eventually divvied up into 240 pieces. If you just read that last sentence, then you have just learned something and I'm just that much closer to fulfilling my commitment to Karma!

An American Hero

Since the
Clint Eastwood
movie
Richard Jewell
has come out
and is in theaters now,
I though I would bring back at least one of my stories that I wrote about this
Hero.
From
June 29th 2015
called
I've Been Thinking, And Does It Hurt

*****
Lately,
I have been thinking about what a friend of mine said,
who wrote to me in an email,
and what one annotator said,
who wrote under the disguise of
Anonymously
on this
Blog.
Both are on the opposite side of the scale,
as far as their
Political Leanings
are concerned.
But both criticized me.
My friend criticized me for being too
Left-Wing,
and that I was angry with the
World
for some reason.
Why couldn't I let things be as they are
and write about,
"The birds and the bees and the flowers and the trees?"
Anonymous wrote,
"Are you now a communist sympathizer, or friends of ISIS. Unfortunate things happen, there were reasons why Richard Jewel was accused, he perpetuated the situation. The Government sucks and it's all the republicans fault, the liberals are great."
First,
like most
Americans
who don't follow through on stories after the sensational
"Headlines"
have broken,
Anonymous
doesn't have his facts right on this
"Unsung Hero,"
Richard Jewell.
Richard Jewell made the mistake of finding the pipe bomb 9 minutes before Eric Robert Rudolph called 9-1-1 to deliver his warning of a bomb.
The FBI couldn't imagine someone lucky enough,
of finding the bomb
and saving countless lives,
without prior knowledge of the bomb existing.
The U.S. Attorney General at the time,
Janet Reno,
publicly apologized to Mr. Jewell saying,
"I'm very sorry it happened. I think we owe him an apology. I regret the leak."
I believe
Richard Jewell
was a
Hero.
That is why I defend him so.
Since this person has signed his
or her comments
"Anonymously,"
I cannot tell
or smart enough to tell,
if it is sarcasm
or if they are being serious.
If I knew the name of the person,
I would know by their personality.
Unless,
of course,
I never met the person.
Why do I bring these two people up in this
Post?
My friend,
the
E-mailer
and
Anonymous
the annotator?
They both bring up a good point about my
Political Views.
"I'm right and the rest of you are all wrong!"
(Just kidding.)
These views I write are my personal views.
Take them
or leave them,
but have an opinion on the subjects I write about.
I am very opinionated,
politically minded,
believe I'm funny at times,
and love to inform people about new technologies that are on the horizon.
Since my kids are at the age,
where they prefer to listen to music,
play on their game consoles,
read a book,
be with their own families
and friends,
or do whatever my children do on their cell phones,
rather than listen to me rant
and rave about this
and that,
my only outlet is to put my genius out here on my
Blog
for the
World
to see.
And I see a
Hero
in
Richard Jewell.

“You know something is wrong when the government declares opening someone else’s mail is a felony but your internet activity is fair game for data collecting.”
- E.A. Bucchianeri -

This is my story and I'm sticking to it!
