About Me

My photo
Hello my fellow Politiores Troglodytes. This Blog is a collection of Posts, Poems, & Short Stories that I write on a daily basis. If you find it entertaining, informative, and controversial, then I have done my job properly. Thank goodness too, because Karma has been on my case of late. I'm supposed to bring fifty people into the fold or I'll have to give back the part of Einstein's brain I inherited. No, I'm not one of the Scientists who got a piece of his brain when he died. Karma said, "Eat this knowledge. It'll make you smarter!" The bargain I made with Karma was, if I could change fifty people into Politiores Populos, I would be rewarded with my very own Lamborghini. So, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! Like what you're reading, then read on. P.S. Populo is Latin for people. Politiores is Latin for educated. Troglodytes is English for troglodytes. And Einstein's brain was stolen by Thomas Stoltz Harvey after his death in 1955 and eventually divvied up into 240 pieces. If you just read that last sentence, then you have just learned something and I'm just that much closer to fulfilling my commitment to Karma!

September 26th, A Day That Will Live In Infamy

Is it too late to bring back this
Post?
I hope not.
This is a reprise of my
Post
September 26th, 1975,
from
April 29th, 2015.

****
Here is what I believe.
  September 26th
is an important date in
American Cosplay
tradition.
I don't know when the
Japanese
started dressing up as
Cosplayers,
not including
Halloween Celebrations Worldwide
of course,
but I feel the
Cosplayer Tradition
here in
United States
really kicked off with the
"Rocky Horror Picture Show."

Fans have been acting out scenes from the movie,
dressing up as different characters from the movie,
while watching the movie,
since I can remember seeing the movie back in 1976.
The movie release was
September 26th, 1975.
This is where
American Cosplay
originated,
in my opinion.
   From those pioneers,
we have an
American Industry
that loves to role play
and have their picture taken.
Thank you
Rocky Horror.
If you have a
Facebook Page,
please notify the
"Nerdist News With Jessica Chobot"
at
"www.Facebook.com/Nerdist"
about this historic date coming up
and let's get the
American Release
of the
"Rocky Horror Picture Show"
the credit it is due.
The
Federal Government
also needs to declare
September 26th
a
National Holiday.

This is,
Saying Those Pictures Of Me Dressed Up Like
Frank N. Furter
Are Photo Shopped,
Jim Hauenstein,

And,

"Give yourself over to absolute pleasure. Swim the warm waters of sins of the flesh - erotic nightmares beyond any measure, and sensual daydreams to treasure forever. Can't you just see it? Don't dream it, be it."

That is my story and I am sticking to it!
