Five days ago I

"I'm Back."

It was a reference to the fact that I am finally back home in

Southern California

after a

2 Month

vacation.

I cannot say that I had

Jet Lag

for the last 5 days,
since I didn't write anything on this
Blog,

but I did drive around the country

and with the change in

Time Zones

I went through

and my sleep habits constantly in flux,

I certainly had some kind of

Lag!

Today,
I am going to try to catch up with some of my

I'm Back

I'm back!

I took a two month vacation this summer

and I am finally back home.

I left

Southern California

on

June 9th,

and arrived back on

August 11th.

I first drove to

New Mexico.

Saw some sights then left for

Texas.

Visiting my second

and third oldest daughters.

Left for

Louisiana

to visit my oldest daughter

and her family.

Went back to

Texas

to put my third oldest daughter onto a flight to

California

and helped my second oldest daughter move to

Virginia.

Stopping once again in

Louisiana

for four days before going the rest of the way to

Virginia.

Stayed there for a week before heading to

Wisconsin.

There I visited my

Dad.

I took him to upper

Wisconsin

to visit my

Sister

and

Brother-in-law,

staying there for ten days before taking my father back to his home

and visiting my

Brother

and his family.

Until finally leaving on

August 9th

to travel back to beautiful

Southern California.

I don't have what they call

Jet Lag

but I don't ever want to drive anywhere for a really long time!

"How Do We Communicate?"

   "Your my science advisor. How do we communicate with these creatures?"
   "Mister President." Retorts Karen Krahn. "It's not like we have ever encountered a spacecraft from another world before. This is a first for all of humanity."
   "Look at these pictures." the President replies, not hearing what she has to say. "They don't even have any eyes! How do they see?"
   "Mister President. I believe you should stop looking at these aliens as some kind of monsters," says a frustrated Karen. "Obviously they are truly more advanced than we are, traveling across the galaxy to reach us." The Science Advisor pauses here to contemplate the President's last statement, then says with as much conviction as possible, "Maybe they have some kind of combine telepathy and telekinesis where they can mentally see who they are communicating with while moving, shaping, and building objects with their minds?"
   "Then explain all that clicking sound they make when they are walking around outside of their craft." the President responds. "And that other gurgling noise they make when they seem to be facing each other."
   Karen gets close to shouting, "I have no idea!"
   An assistant to Science Advisor hiding in a corner, tries to interrupt timidly, "I believe I have the answer to the clicking...."
   "Who the hell are you and why are you talking?" demands an arrogant President.
   Staring angrily at the President, Karen says vehemently, "She is with me Mister President and why don't you shut up for once and let someone else talk."
   A pouting President concedes to his advisor with a little gurgling noise of his own but doesn't say another word.
   Karen then looks to her assistant, saying, "Go ahead."
   "Well, my cousin is blind and she doesn't get around with a seeing eye dog. She gets around by making stomping sounds with her feet, tapping her cane, snapping her fingers, and making clicking noises with her mouth. It's called echolocation and blind people have been doing it for ages."
   The President looks confused at this point and in these situations he always keeps quiet to let his advisors speak first so he doesn't look the fool.
   Karen thinks about what her assistant said for a second then says jubilantly, "Your a genius, Qaifa. I believe you are spot on. This takes away half the problem for our linguists to figure out their speech patterns."
   The Science Advisor looks to the President saying, "Now all we have to do is find something both species have in common. Like physics!"
   
   In the coming months, the linguists did find a common starting point with the aliens, with the President smartly giving Qaifa the credit for discovering the first clue to understanding the aliens.

The problem,

when looking on your phone is,

Blogger

uses what is called the

Mobile Version

of a website.
What that does is,

it takes away all the extra designs,

headings,

thrills,

and frills I am able to put on the

Web Version.

This lets the

Mobile Version

load faster onto your phone

and lets you see,

what they consider the important content in a larger font size.

The

Web Version

is always loaded in the tiniest of fonts so they can show the whole webpage.

Unfortunately,

the only way to sign up as a

Follower

is to look at the

Web Version.

The best way of signing up as a

Follower

is to open up whichever

Browser

you like to use.

Like

Internet Explorer,

Edge,

Chrome,

Mozilla Firefox,

Opera,

and so on.

If your

Homepage

isn't

Google.com

go to that page.

If you already have a

Gmail Account,

sign in.

If not,

you will have to create one.

Once you have done that,

in the search box type in

Two Buck Howie

and a link to my

Blog

will pop up.

Press on that link.

Then you will see the

Mobile Version

of my

Blog.

Near the bottom you will see where it says

View Web Version.

 Click on that link

and of course the

Web Version

will load.

Then,

on the right hand side,

under the heading

"Followers,"

you will see near the top a blue link titled

Follow.

Press on this

and you will be able to say yes to be the next

Follower!

See how

Blogger

makes it almost impossible for most people to sign up!

But please,
