About Me

My photo
Hello my fellow Politiores Troglodytes. This Blog is a collection of Posts, Poems, & Short Stories that I write on a daily basis. If you find it entertaining, informative, and controversial, then I have done my job properly. Thank goodness too, because Karma has been on my case of late. I'm supposed to bring fifty people into the fold or I'll have to give back the part of Einstein's brain I inherited. No, I'm not one of the Scientists who got a piece of his brain when he died. Karma said, "Eat this knowledge. It'll make you smarter!" The bargain I made with Karma was, if I could change fifty people into Politiores Populos, I would be rewarded with my very own Lamborghini. So, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! Like what you're reading, then read on. P.S. Populo is Latin for people. Politiores is Latin for educated. Troglodytes is English for troglodytes. And Einstein's brain was stolen by Thomas Stoltz Harvey after his death in 1955 and eventually divvied up into 240 pieces. If you just read that last sentence, then you have just learned something and I'm just that much closer to fulfilling my commitment to Karma!

A Ghost Ranch Wedding

   Has it happened already?
I give my word, a while back, that I was going to start writing on my Blog at least once a week, and then I miss a little over four months in a row?!?!
Oh, the horror of it all. 😭
I still like writing and want to write on my Blog. But I found a part time job that I also like to do. It keeps me busy and I meet people everyday that I can converse with.
Yes, I am a very social animal.
I've seen to many people get old overnight after they retire and find they have nothing to do and are all alone.
A person needs a purpose in life to exist. Or they will just wither away.

Let's get away from the morbid excuses and down to business!

I just got back from the wonderful Ghost Ranch in New Mexico for a wedding for one of my nieces.
That's what I like about my wife's side of the family! Filipinos love big families! And I love their traditions and love they show each other.
It was a beautiful wedding!
The best part for me? I met a lot of great people at the event that I haven't seen in a while, made some new friends from the groom's side of the family, saw my second eldest son and his girlfriend, and I saw my eldest daughter and my wonderful grandchildren that I haven't seen in person for a couple of years!
I did bring, or should I say, my 6th eldest drove myself and another grandson of mine most of the way. And I am so glad she did.
Being there, it helped remind me of why I am the luckiest person alive!
Family!
