About Me

My photo
Hello my fellow Politiores Troglodytes. This Blog is a collection of Posts, Poems, & Short Stories that I write on a daily basis. If you find it entertaining, informative, and controversial, then I have done my job properly. Thank goodness too, because Karma has been on my case of late. I'm supposed to bring fifty people into the fold or I'll have to give back the part of Einstein's brain I inherited. No, I'm not one of the Scientists who got a piece of his brain when he died. Karma said, "Eat this knowledge. It'll make you smarter!" The bargain I made with Karma was, if I could change fifty people into Politiores Populos, I would be rewarded with my very own Lamborghini. So, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! Like what you're reading, then read on. P.S. Populo is Latin for people. Politiores is Latin for educated. Troglodytes is English for troglodytes. And Einstein's brain was stolen by Thomas Stoltz Harvey after his death in 1955 and eventually divvied up into 240 pieces. If you just read that last sentence, then you have just learned something and I'm just that much closer to fulfilling my commitment to Karma!

I Was Blinded By Science

I love
Science.
Not all kinds of
Science.
Mostly,
just
Science
pertaining to
Outer Space,
Robotics,
or anything
Futuristic.
I am a sucker for a good
Virtual Reality App.
I love to write
Fiction Stories,
because it all comes down to
Imagination.
You can make up things which you believe
Will,
Did,
or
Are Happening Right Now
in the
Past,
Present,
or
Future.
That is why something like the
flying by
Saturn
is so cool to me.
It's not
Science Fiction,
it's just
Science.
You have all heard about,
how we humans love to pollute our
Oceans
with debris.
Here is a case in point.
"Robocop is now stomping through the streets of Dubai, safeguarding its citizens and upholding law and order in the UAE's most famous Emirate. The robotic officer went on duty on Tuesday (May 23rd. 2017) and could be the first of many to start work for Dubai Police. Shown this week at the Gulf Information Security and Expo Conference. It stands at a not-too-imposing 1.5-meters, weighs 220 pounds (100 kg), and features a touchscreen display on its torso that can be used to report crimes and even pay fines for things such as traffic violations. The crime-busting android moves around on wheels, can speak six languages, and has the ability to detect a person's emotions and facial expressions, and respond accordingly. The newest addition to Dubai's police unit is actually the work of Spain-based PAL Robotics with a number of skills added by Google and also IBM with its Watson AI system."
