About Me

My photo
Hello my fellow Politiores Troglodytes. This Blog is a collection of Posts, Poems, & Short Stories that I write on a weekly basis. If you find it entertaining, informative, and controversial, then I have done my job properly. Thank goodness too, because Karma has been on my case of late. I'm supposed to bring fifty people into the fold or I'll have to give back the part of Einstein's brain I inherited. No, I'm not one of the Scientists who got a piece of his brain when he died. Karma said, "Eat this knowledge. It'll make you smarter!" The bargain I made with Karma was, if I could change fifty people into Politiores Populos, I would be rewarded with my very own Lamborghini. So, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! Like what you're reading, then read on. P.S. Populo is Latin for people. Politiores is Latin for educated. Troglodytes is English for troglodytes. And Einstein's brain was stolen by Thomas Stoltz Harvey after his death in 1955 and eventually divvied up into 240 pieces. If you just read that last sentence, then you have just learned something and I'm just that much closer to fulfilling my commitment to Karma!

How Do You Stop A Future Terrorist?

On the theme I have been discussing on my last couple of Posts,
today in
online,
there is an article on,
"How Do You Stop A Future Terrorist,
When The Only Evidence Is Thought?"
By Rukmini Callimachi
"MAGNANVILLE, France — The first time Larossi Abballa appeared on the radar of French terrorism investigators, the only act of violence they could pin on him was killing bunnies. When he and seven others were later arrested, the authorities found that several of the men had saved the video of the slaughter on their cellphones, alongside footage of soldiers being beheaded, according to French court records. Mr. Abballa was eventually convicted on a terrorism charge and spent more than two years in prison. Across Europe and the United States, law enforcement officials are struggling to reckon with attackers like Mr. Abballa and Omar Mateen, whose shooting rampage this month at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Fla., left 49 dead. They are men who clearly seemed to be building toward violent acts, and whose names had surfaced in terrorism investigations, but who avoided crossing legal lines that could tip off the authorities until it was too late. With thousands of terrorism surveillance cases running at any given time, the European authorities say they are swamped and are in the difficult position of trying to head off attacks of which the only forewarning is often in the form of what someone thinks or what they are overheard saying."
That is my question from my first Post of two days ago.
When is it OK to arrest someone before they even commit an act of terrorism?
A whole lot of people,
who are my friends,
grew up in the late 1960's
and 1970's blaming our Government for the Vietnam War.
They openly protested what was going on in this country during the Civil Rights Riots.
Would these people be considered Terrorists today?

This is,
Considering What Would Happen If You Could Be Arrested For What You Thought.
Maybe Communism Under Stalin?
Jim Hauenstein,

And,

“Democracy is not a form of government. It is a tool of government. Case in point, Stalinist USSR was a "democracy".”
A.E. Samaan -

That is my story and I am sticking to it!

Guns Don't Kill People. People With Guns Kill People.

An anonymous person left a Comment on yesterday's Post,
called
stating that I am a
Terrorists
loving liberal.

"So what you are saying in this post is that liberals, like you, LOVE terrorists that kill Americans. I on the other hand do not, and don't care why they are doing it but they are, what is your solution."

Yesterday,
I wrote on an article that I saw when I was using a search engine to find subjects I could write about.
The idea of the Post was to state the obvious about
Donald Trump
and the rhetoric he uses to inflame groups of people with his scare tactics.
We have all heard how the
Media
thinks Trump is talking out of his ass most of the time,
not caring
or thinking things through before he speaks.
I beg to differ.
Even though I believe he is not the right person to be our President,
I believe
Donald Trump
knows exactly what he is doing.
It may sound
Politically Incorrect
to the
Media
when he is spotting out about building a wall between the
United States
and
Mexico.
Or how all Muslims are the same any where you go
and that all of them are born evil.
He is using one of the most fundamental campaign strategies used since the times of the
Roman Empire.
To get elected,
find out what the majority of the people are afraid of,
say how you are going to stop those individuals
and you will change the way things are done when you are in office.
Adolf Hitler
was a master at getting the
German People
to rally to his cause by saying how evil the
Jews
were
and how they could be blamed for all the troubles of those
German People.
In the article,
Trump states that we should start
Profiling
to pick out who could be the next
Terrorist.
I said that we are already using
Profiling
in all of our major
Law Enforcement
agencies
and in the
Military.
Including the
Secret Service.
It is not something knew,
here in the
United States.
It is something that has been going on since the computer age took a hold of our daily lives.
In the work place
and in our leisure time.
He spouts it out because,
either people don't realize that it is going on all the time
or they don't know how it is done.
He spouts it out to get people excited about what he is saying,
getting them to believe that he will be the savior of our way of life.
Terrorists
have been around since governments were first established.
You will never satisfy everyone in this World.
Haters
have to
Hate,
and will
Hate
until they get what they want.
Then someone will
Hate
them for getting what they wanted.
Profiling
goes on all the time,
but sometimes people get it wrong
and somebody slips through.
And as long as the population of the World increases,
there will be a higher percentage of people who will become
Terrorists.
It's just the nature of the
Beast.

This is,
Most Politicians Would Never Talk The Way Donald Trump Does,
Because They Are Rehearsed Daily On How To Speak Politically Correct,
Jim Hauenstein,

And,

“One way of seeing all of this is as a symptom of post-millennial decay, the degradation of public discourse, and the encroachment of celebrity worship into the arena of national affairs. Another way of looking at it was as an indication of the GOP's state of disarray. Then there was the way Trump perceived the thing: as a manifestation of his magnificence...”
Mark Halperin -

That is my story and I am sticking to it!

The Gospel Truth

Without sounding redundant,
doesn't the
understand,
that
Donald The Stump
is insane?
His latest rhetoric that is sweeping all the
Rich Elderly White People,
who are so afraid of anyone who even looks remotely different then them,
is his statement that we should be using
Racial Profiling
to combat acts of
Terrorism
hitting our
Homeland.
What the
Hell
does he think our
Police Force,
Boarder Patrol,
FBI,
CIA,
Secret Service,
and
Military
do all day?
Sit around and eat donuts?
Racial Profiling
is happening all around us on a daily basis.
Store Clerks,
Bank Employees,
Car Dealerships,
anywhere where someone looks out of place,
seems to be checking out a place,
or just looking suspicious because someone doesn't feel right about their appearance.
It happens all the time.
"Well I think profiling is something that we're going to have to start thinking about as a country," the presumptive GOP nominee said in a phone interview with CBS' "Face the Nation. "Other countries do it, you look at Israel and you look at others, they do it and they do it successfully. And I hate the concept of profiling but we have to start using common sense and we have to use our heads."
The problem with
Racial Profiling
is in the
Eye of the Beholder.
People have prejudices.
It can't be helped.
But when someone hates a group of people for their
Religious Preferences,
Ethnicity,
Color,
Educational Background,
or any of the other stupid reason people love to use as an excuse to hate,
and if they are in
Authority
over others,
who watches them?
Who profiles them.
Who says that they have the right to choose someones fate.
Who keeps an eye on
Donald Trump?
I ask you,
which
Individual
has the right to choose who in this World is good or bad?
This country is known as the
Melting Pot of the World.
And for good reason.
This Country shows,
to the whole World,
that we will take any
Individual,
who is
Honest,
Hard Working,
Industrious,
and a
Visionary,
that he can make a life for him or herself and their families. And isn't that what everyone wants in the end throughout the World?

This is,
Profiling Donald Trump As Someone Who Will Say Anything To Stir Up The Masses,
Because If He Says Something Idiotic,
Enough Times,
People Will Believe It As The Gospel Truth,
Since They Heard So Often,
Jim Hauenstein,

And,

"He that is without sin among you, let him cast the first stone."
- Jesus of Nazareth -

That is my story and I am sticking to it!

"You can't go home again."

Thomas Wolfe once said,
"You can't go home again."
Meaning,
you can never recapture the memories
and feelings you have of a place from your past.
Everything changes all the time,
moving forward.
But,
as I see it,
it doesn't hurt to try.
I haven't been back to
the state I grew up in,
for at least fifteen years.
Things have change too!
But from my memories from my younger days,
I don't remember how peaceful it is here
and how friendly the people are.
I'm sure there are wonderful places throughout the World where the people are friendly
and the living is peaceful.
But compared to the hustle that California life hits you with on a daily basis,
for me,
it is extremely restful here.
My relatives have done well for themselves.
Having loving families
and settling in nicely with their daily lives.
For me,
it is great to see it first hand,
instead of hearing it over a phone.
Since I have been here we have talked about the old days,
about the good times we had,
and not so good times.
Since I haven't been here for such a long time,
the stories told eventually always end up about me.
The favorite story told so far is about the time my brother,
brother-in-law,
and I went bow hunting for deer.
It was decided early in the morning that my brother
and brother-in-law would chase the deer towards a spot where I would be stationed.
It would be my best opportunity to finally get a deer.
I had been hunting for about five years by this time.
Unfortunately for my fellow hunters,
they didn't know that the night before,
I kind of tied one on as they say.
Or,
to tell the truth,
I got really drunk.
There I was,
sitting around waiting for them to double back in a wide circle,
flushing the deer my way.
My brother-in-law saw a good size buck
and chased him towards me.
He couldn't take the shot because I was in the area the deer was running.
He kept waiting for me to take the shot.
Waiting and waiting.
When I didn't,
he came running up with my brother,
wondering if something had happened to me.
They both saw me at the same time.
There I was,
snoring away,
without a care in the World.
That was over thirty years ago
and to this day,
neither one will ever go hunting with me!

This is,
Saying My Excuse For Never Killing A Deer Is,
If I Kill One I would Have To Be The One To Gut It,
Jim Hauenstein,

And,

"I don't have to take a trip around the world or be on a yacht in the Mediterranean to have happiness. I can find it in the little things, like looking out into my backyard and seeing deer in the fields."
- Queen Latifah -

That is my story and I am sticking to it!
